The chiefs are in preseason

The team don't take the regular season too seriously. Andy like to try out new plays and stuff like that. the team really start playing in the post season watch when you see a play like why he do that because he's seing if it work the playoff.

I think they take it seriously nut, you don't win this many games without attention to detail like they have without being serious.

I think maybe they know the regular season only really matters to get the team "rolling," as Andy likes to say, entering the playoffs.

My concern is that's 4 games in a row that the defense failed to close the game. They keep giving up tds instead of stopping them in the 4th. That's and issue.

And they weren't dominant all season last year but locked it down in the playoffs. They will clean it up. (Also holding out hope that they'll have Watson back)

Yup.

Last year we had a horrible mid-season streak of losses.

We are winning those shitty games this year.

Yeah....I don't think they do. Read about how they all were in the locker room post game yesterday.

They all know they need to play better.

Sure seems like the teams who look great from the first game can’t sustain it through the postseason.

The team who wins, despite struggling, and figures it out in the postseason seems to be the team to win it all. Most sports seems that way to me.

Yeah, I think playing through adversity matters and Mahomes has talked quite a bit about preparing for all situations and being comfortable in all situations... they very rarely have a game like the Bills did against the Ravens or when the Bills got embarrassed by the Bengals in the playoffs, where they're just completely unprepared if their bread and butter isn't working.

Someone mentioned yesterday the Chiefs had some stupid personnel group on the field for an important down... do we really think Andy had a stroke, or maybe that was intentional.

Teams like the Lions just don't scare me at all until they do it in the postseason against the one or two actual SB contenders... when they prove they're either simply clearly better than everyone else or have to coach/will their way to victory when suddenly whatever they're doing now doesn't work in a playoff game and they need a Plan B or C or Q.

The front 4 of the defense just looks like they're playing in sand. The Panthers seemed to have all the blitzes and such figured out as well.

Just gotta keep working forward on it. Hopefully the defense gets going.

We absolutely are. We need to play better but we also do things that desperate teams fighting for every win do not.

Dhop is only getting a 33% route share. I imagine by the playoffs he’ll have a way way higher rate participation and target share.

If we were desperate I am guessing Pacheco and maybe omenihu would’ve been back last week. I also imagine humphries starts almost immediately

I also believe spags plays a lot with rotations and presses young players to see what they’ve got even when they’re not doing great. Nazeeh is a good example. Either he steps up or we just go back to someone like Joshua Williams.

Hell, not even midseason. We lost like three or four games in December last season.

Weird year.
