They also don't have the cheaper "store brand" sets like you mentioned in your later post. I've had pretty good experiences with NFM.

I would highly recommend the higher end hisense tvs. Excellent blacks and vivid colors without blooming/pixelation.
Hisense is really good. They do well for gaming as well. Low latency and nice picture.

agreed. I have a higher end 82" samsung and a higher end 75" hisense, and they are very comparable.

240 refresh rate, low latency, excellent blacks - no blooming issues.

My only regret is I didnt pony up a few more bucks for the 85" model

If your budget only allows the TVs in the OP, go for it. You'll be happy with them. Hell, I still have a Vizio E series 70" that other than blooming in dark scenes, looks just fine and I won't be replacing it until it dies.

If you can spend a bit more, this is a hell of a lot better TV.

that's a heck of a deal on that TV. Mini-LED is very nice.

They're #1 in Roku sets right now. About the same quality as TCL, maybe even a little better, for less. Keep in mind it's a budget set, it's not a Sony or LG but I have a TCL 75" and an expensive LG 75" and I actually like the TCL a little better for gaming.

In the last two years I have watched zero 4k movies on my 75 inch TV. The NFL barely streams anything in 4k.

Even 1080 at 60 is highly compressed. If you have the budget and are watch Blu-Ray, absolutely.

Some of us are not. When I bought my TV, it was around $1200 instead of $3000+. For streaming sports at mostly 1080, it's been great. I could have gotten one for around $750, if I recall. But I noticed a lot more glare because dim and I want to watch sports with my windows open instead of having to draw the curtains like I did my old plasma TV.

Current TV has been great for NFL and basketball. That's all it really gets used for.

High definition movies and occasional gaming, I have a high quality monitor in my bedroom.

I keep them to slide under a vehicle when working on it in the garage. Catches any oil or other fluids and keeps the floor clean.

Here is what I have

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sku/654...are_source=PDP

It's the 65" version because I couldn't fit the 75" in the space I had. You really can't beat this tv. Such an incredible TV.
