I think KC is good enough to win. I don’t think they will shut down the Niners offense, just like they didn’t shut down Buffalo’s offense. The Niners defense looks vulnerable. Chiefs offense will need to play a sharp game and put a lot of points on the board.

Disagree.

He doesn’t have to do anything crazy if the Chiefs shit the bed and get blown out (too many turnovers, penalties, etc).

If it’s a close game, Purdy will have to make big time throws against an elite pass defense late. It always happens in these games.

If it’s close, one QB will make the winning plays. One QB won’t.

49ers offense had many problems vs two lesser defenses… Green Bay and Detroit.

Spags is going to make taking away CMC and also make getting constant pressure on Purdy the focal point of his defensive gameplan.

The 49ers have good skill players but by my estimation the majority of their production is scheming, not beating the guy in front of them. And Spags isn’t going to get out schemed. The skill players will have to separate from elite secondary skill and scheme more than they are use to and Purdy will have to make more anticipation throws and more tight coverage throws than he is used to. I expect him to either hold the ball too long or make bad passes that can easily become turnovers or just not move the chains. As long as we don’t let CMC have a huge day catching easy passes for big gains and making big runs we win comfortably.

The Niners may have better weapons, but I think our defense matches up better against them than it does against Buffalo. The Bills running game outmuscles people with a north-south power running attack. And you have to deal with Allen running on top of that. It's very different from the wide zone scheme the Niners like to run.
