They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

You were giving him shit for the Omenihu signing early in his return from suspension, but now that it's looking like a great signing, I'm sure that's all Cullen and Spags.

He's the best in the ****ing business dude. He is a huge reason why we are in our 4th SB in 5 years. Your refusal to give him his flowers is just baffling.
I like Veach, I mean there's a lot to like. I just like some of the other guys we have a lot more and give them more of the credit. For me it's Mahomes, Reid, Spags, Veach. What will be interesting is when guys move on and how they do. I think that'll give the best indication of how talented they are and how good the coaching has been. Obviously finding guys that mesh with the coaching is also part of it.

On Omenihu I don't remember giving him shit did I? My take on Omenihu when signed was I liked it, if I remember, but also in the season he's been up and down and a bad tackler. Which I maintain. Basically you take the fact he's not great against the run because he's somerimes a great rusher. But if I'm rewriting stuff then fair enough.

in hindsight, LaPorta's not there at 20 let alone 32...

No shit Sherlock... there will be a shit sandwich at some position every year when you are paying your QB $50 million plus...

They finally did the right thing for the playoffs, took Moore and Toney and said you guys aren't good enough.

If a team is spending $50m on a QB... the one position that absolutely cannot be a shit sandwich are that QBs receivers. We are fortunate that Mahomes is as good as he is because there isn't another QB in the league today that would have led all those "DAWGS in the WR room" (other than Rice... Rice is actually a DAWG) to the SB.

MVS, Toney, Hardman, Moore are all AFL All-Stars. That is their ceiling.

That was not the only problem. We also had WRs who were constantly doing the wrong things before the catch. We still have the same limitations. We are managing around them by asking Mvs and Watson to do the very bare minimum and relegating mecole, skyy, hardman. And to Mvs’ credit he’s been like a Frank clark in the playoffs.. Good enough to bandaid for now, but we can’t pay that much to a guy like Mvs for this kind of inconsistency.

We’re making it work by giving kelce and rice an insane amount of targets. But we still have instances in every game where you can see how badly we want to take a little bit of the top of the defense to mixed results. And how we probably need to be able to do more out of 11 personnel. Or how our offense looks sluggish when we are asked to deliberately funnel targets to Watson or Mvs. a team like this should not have multiple WRs on the field we’re literally afraid to throw to. Look, we made a mistake with one position group. We look very well positioned to work around it. I trust it’s not a mistake veach will make again, given his track record.

I don’t want to dwell on the negative because I’m focused on winning with this group and I know we will. We will win with this group, despite their limitations, and next year when veach knocks it out of the park with offense upgrades we’ll be amazed at how much we forgot about this offenses ceiling.

that was proven wrong this year... We are in the Superbowl. We definitely need to upgrade at WR, but to deny that won't create a glaring weakness elsewhere is ridiculous.
