Also 6 receptions for 77 yards would be a career day for any of the above. He hasn't been perfect, but I'll take that over the product we've seen all year.

I don't think it'll take too long for the Chiefs to improve the position, and will even likely look a lot different as soon as next year. But I wonder if some of the problem simply isn't going for skill position players (or maybe just hitting on them) in the first few rounds of the draft:

I'd say....that's just Andy's MO. It's what he's always done, it's probably (gulp) smart to do.

They need weapons, but in the past, they've developed mid to late round and UDFA's.

They just whiffed on Moore. That's really the elephant in the room.

Yup.

Hardman needs to get the reps MVS was getting. He was able to actually do what we expected from MVS this year. He's a credible threat downfield who teams will have to account for. Even if he's not getting a bunch of yards, he'll make life easier for Kelce and Rice.

The interception play was awkward looking but ultimately he's a fast guy who can catch/run. That's something that should keep teams out of single high.

Hell, I wanted to extend him before we lost him. He's matured a TON. He just needs to stay healthy.

I'd like to see us keep him in town this time around. And he has a MASSIVE opportunity ahead of him, IMO.

Yeah, he is a dynamic player and Andy seems to understand how to use him.

Expecting him to be, Tyreek for instance, probably ain't gonna work. But if you had him and Rice and say......Egbuka....that's a pretty solid spot.

He's probably the only wide receiver on the team that muscles that ball away from Neiman. He took one from Samuel too, but Neiman had that ball picked before Hardman took it from him. I've never seen MVS, Toney ot Moore fight for a ball like that.

You were pretty impressed by his 6 yards with the Jets and his 118 yards with the Chiefs this year? The majority of it when the Chiefs have literally no other weapon on the field?
