I'm fairly confident based upon what many ex players have stated that every NFL team since at least the Steelers in the 70's have had players that cheat with PEDs. That is so much more consequential than having a slight advantage how you gather signals when most teams were doing it. I'm speaking of the SB winning years.

Nick Saban is on record that he told the person talking to him to not give his guess of signals when he was working for Belichick in Cleveland. He said it messed him up and was more concerned with just appropriate defensive coverage based upon down and distance et cetera. So, Saban found the info Cleveland under Belichick gathered so useless that he mostly ignored it. That spying operationg in Cleveland didn't result in enough wins for Belichick to retain his job. Maybe his opponents did it better.

Whatever the case, the fact is that Brady raised his QBR nearly 20 points after everyone knew about Spygate. Bledsoe won less under Belichick. Patriots with Brady had higher winning percentage after Spygate than before Spygate.

Brady himself was the cheat code.

Yup, those 2 rings are part or Brady’s 4 legitimate titles. good for him that he finally tied Joe Montana without his team cheating!

It’s funny Mahomes hasn’t lost to a bad QB in the playoffs yet. Meanwhile, Brady is 2-8 vs Flacco, Eli, Tannehill, Sanchez, Foles, and Plummer in the postseason .

We don't get off the field defensively until large chunks of time has passed, the game gets shortened, and this offense has proven that it needs every possession it can possibly get to generate points, because they can't stop stepping on their dick and the coach is chomping at the bit to punt the football inside the enemy 40.

Not sure the facts support the claim that their cheating didn’t help much. During the 7 seasons of “Spygate,” NE won 14 playoff games. The next 7 years, they won 7. They were busted during the 16-0 season and didn’t win another playoff game until four years later.

Brady developed and became a great QB in his prime. That, paired with great defensive schemes and weapons like Gronk won them a lot of games later on. But early on they were cheating frauds.

“We knew all your plays and you still stopped us. I can’t believe it!”

There’s a reason that Mangini developed a dummy system specifically for games in Foxboro.

How do you know we gave it up? Maybe we were just more careful and kept it on the down low. You know, got better every day. The Patriot Way thing.

So, it's hard to pay attention to all of your weird rants, but it seems like you got more worked up over the cameras, as stupid as that whole thing was, than you did the squishy footballs thing. While that was even more painfully stupid it served as an excuse to discount the 3 post-2007 rings for a lot of imbeciles out there yet you seem to largely ignore it.

You gotta get on board with it. Either we only won because of cheating or you are giving us partial credit for being a great team that won one hell of a lot of games for legit reasons and I KNOW you don't want to do that.

To drop the sarcasm for a second all this cheating stuff says more about human psychology than it does about any sort of competitive advantage. People didn't believe that we could compete at such a high level for so long when nobody else could pull it off so they had to find another reason that suited their belief system.

Strange as it is, we're still a topic of interest at 3-10 and when we draft a QB next April people are going go "shit.....here comes those massholes again".

See you Sunday, but next year will be a whole different narrative. Your guys better win or it's going to be a total shitshow around this place and probably should be.

Yea, Williams had 27 carries for 85 yards... our rush defense sucks... We turned the ball over and gave them short fields. WE HAD 5-FIVE ****ING TO's. Gee, I wonder if that effects time of possession.

I assume Belichick wouldn't be stupid enough to keep spygating after he lost a first round pick. The Pats were a great team from 2000-2007. But there is a difference between being a great team and a legit super bowl champion. We are not looking the same at that Pats dynasty had they NOT won in 2001, 2003, and 2004. In fact, Brady is just barely above .500 as a QB in Super Bowls not counting the ones he won when the Pats were Spygating. You are dismissing Spygate as not a big deal, but I think it was much much much worse than you realize. The Don Van Natta and Seth Wickersham ESPN report in 2015 sheds light on what actually happened, not the Goodell/NFL version.

As I recall, Dee Ford jumping offsides when Brady threw what should have been a game ending pick was the first time. So no, it was not Brady, it was Dee Ford who took away that opportunity.

The second time was when he was in Tampa and the Chiefs oline was decimated by the time they got to the SB. Add to that the fact that the officiating (!@#$, Carl Cheffers!) was obviously trying to help Brady and there you go.
