They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

Id like to see Richie James get more opportunities. He's probably our best hope to turn things around. I think Rice will be great eventually but not this season. it will take some time and coaching.
Of course there is nothing to be done about it now but again, none of this was hard to forecast. Plenty of people thought we needed to not just let JuJu walk without a replacement. This wasn't just one offseason. In 5 prior drafts Veach added ZERO #1 , #2 or #3 WR's for most teams. Hardman worked here for a while but had to be manufactured touches. No one else offered him much when he left and he never saw the field much on a Jets team that might be one of the few teams with worse weapons than ours.

He also should have had $$$ to grab in trade deadline and he didn't do that either.

Moving forward its now all on the coaches to get the worst of the worst off the field but so far little success as Skyy Moore continues to get significant snaps and MVS continues to get chances to drop balls or run the wrong routes.

Let Rice run the route that Watson and MVS have messed up the past couple of losses, and see if we get a different result. The one down the numbers on the field where Watson and MVS both drifted inside and shoud have stayed on the numbers.

Well I guess it's still Mahomes' fault they can't catch cuz he makes $50 MILLION.
When it comes to Mahomes, it's about him just continuing to put balls out there regardless and he's not always doing that. Stats be stats, but you watch the games too. We all know the WRs suck donkey cock, that's indisputable.

But everyone needs to understand, as we go along here, that's gonna have to happen somewhere.

It'll be interesting to see when they do it next year with the defense, who people will blame when we lost games in which the defense forced a punt or two. I don't know that Cp is ready for that.
No, in this comparison they "Royaled" the weapons this year. The A's had success with moneyball.

Just made this comment in the game thread. I bet every over on juju at the absolute highest level I could find it. Apparently Pittsburghs defense is on another level of terrible vs the slot. Before anyone looks too much into it

Juju 3 catches for 82 in the half. He looks really good. Can't see a difference from last year.

Mahomes and Allen are 2nd and 4th in pass attempts in the NFL so that they are 1 and 2 in this category isn't a surprise.

Mahomes has a lot of throws that are tough for receivers and defenders to anticipate so that probably does lead to a few more failed catches by both receivers and defenders alike.

And both Mahomes and Josh Allen play their home games outdoors with a lot of night games so a few more missed catches should be expected. The wind in Buffalo can't make it easy to catch the ball there.

Quite a fait and logical rebuttal.

The offseason:

Flip a 3rd and whatever for Pickens. He's on a rookie deal. He wants out and wants to play with a legit qb. Pitt won't have much leverage.

Sign a cost-effective receiver like Tyler Boyd.

Go into next season with Boyd, Rice, Pickens and Kelce.

Profit.
