They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

Let's remove last year because we have already discussed the topic of how "Mahomes WR's are about the same so he should carry them across the finish line" here.

What's the last NFL team to win a Super Bowl with a comparable Wide Receiver room? I would say 2018 Patriots that beat Mahomes in his 1st year and they won a SB where their offense only needed to score more than 3 points in the SuperBowl and took out a KC team with no defense or safeties in the AFC Championship.

And their WR room still better than ours because Edelman was a dependable route runner that Brady could trust being in the right place (like us their TE was their real #1 WR).

I'm fairly concerned that the RZ pick against Philly and the Skyy Moore pick are going to neuter him the rest of this season.

After Denver it was probably drilled into his head not to make dumb throws because our defense is elite.

Gronk was a shell of himself that year.

If anything, the RB (White?) was their top receiver that year.

But wasn't that also the year that Brady made chicken salad out of some Chris Hogan chicken shit?

In the end, that was a very comparable set of pass catchers. I think ours actually has more upside to it than that one does with a very similar floor. But Brady was in complete control of his instrument at that time in his career. He just never got sped up.

Upside doesn't win playoff games. It's about performance and we have a bunch of guy taking snaps right now that are not in the right place and lack fundamentals.

I would be more hopeful if they would start benching guys that keep messing up but that doesn't seem to be in the cards either.

Idk what you want them to do except get Zach Ertz.

MVS is who he is. Skyy is who he is. Watson is who he is.

It's December. They're not changing. Can only hope they unleash Toney and McKinnon from load management in January to give this offense another wrinkle.

Ya'll are just wrong, straight up. Making it seem like he was wide ass open is just wrong, he wasn't.
Again, he was NFL open. Mahomes isn't making those throws this year, probably due to the early picks/drops when WR's let him down. If he is the GOAT, he has to start making those throws. It's ok to say he is in a funk, and our WR's are far from strong, but they aren't this bad...

Skyy Moore is actually a double agent created by Bill Belicheck...sent back in time to sabotage and destroy Patrick Mahomes and try to eliminate the resistance

Zero reason for Skyy to be fed the snaps he gets.

MVS can be in on some packages and run down the field but Mahomes should not be throwing to him unless it's a 2nd and 1 or good situation to do so. Rest of the time its just decoy and hope the other team uses a decent corner on him.

Watson does probably have to play some but for now they should be using 2 TE sets and less WRs on the field.

Watch the game, seriously. Watch every Moore snap like I did. Moore's snaps are 90%+ blocking assignments on run and quick hit passes. He was a potential target on only 3 plays last week. I expect Ritchie to start getting some of the slot snaps going forward as he get more up to speed after coming off IR but Moore is a good blocker so there is a reason he is in on 90% of his snaps.

That’s not necessary in the least.

He only has to make two reads there, both in the same vicinity.

Check the play design anyway. You’ve got Rice, Kelce and Pacheco running routes on the left side with Gray and Bell on the right side. Pat doesn’t even need to look to the right there and that cuts the field in half.

This should have been a pretty easy pitch and catch for a TD.

And that Faketriots team was gifted with playing against a Bob Sutton defense in the AFC Championship Game and won the Super Bowl only scoring one TD.
