****Our Wide Receivers Suck- Official Thread****

They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

I don't think it's too off base to declare Moore as the absolute worst pick of the entire Veach regime.
I didn't think that anyone would be able to beat Speaks but Moore has finally accomplished something.

I know it won't happen...but dude needs to be cut this offseason. He isn't going to get any better and if you keep him on this roster, then he's going to end up taking the roster spot of someone who can actually contribute.

MVS is no better. Everyone clings to the Bengals championship game as the reason why we "need" him. But they're both ****ing ass. You can't tell me there aren't two guys on the wr scrap heap that can do better than these clowns. Bring in some vets and kick these turds to the curb. Someone with hands who runs correct routes and doesn't give up on them.

Sky was right here. The Dback was over the top, he should adjust and expect the back shoulder throw. Grill Sky all you want on other plays, but this wasn't a bad route or a stutter that shouldn't have happened. Sky read the DB correctly, Mahomes didn't.

This WR room can't afford to tie up a roster spot on a guy that you can only be used in large quantities in January. You got to play him now and roll the dice. We need playmakers out there, and he can be extremely valuable in space.

I literally just said this INT was on Mahomes. That doesn't make all of the other shit that Moore has ****ed up disappear.

You guys have bitched all year about Sky and others not reading the defense on option routes and being on the same page. Then when Sky reads it right, you still bitch. Again, the Dback was over the top, you don't make that lofted throw, you put it on a line to the back shoulder. It appears that is what Sky was expecting and it's what Mahomes should have did.

Look, Mahomes is struggling too. On the first drive, first and goal, it's supposed to be a 3 step drop with a quick throw to Pacheco. Pacheco is open, Mahomes is looking at him, gets to his back foot, and doesn't throw it. If he does, it will be a gain if not a TD. However, he didn't and is sacked as it was being blocked as a 3 step drop. That made that drive exponentially harder and we settled for 3. Mahomes is overthinking when he gets to his back foot of his drop and is not throwing the ball consistently. That may be trust in the WR's, etc, but if Mahomes is who we know he is, he needs to get better as well. I think he will and I am not panicking.

A lot of blame probably falls with Reid as well, and considering he's going nowhere at the very least he needs to self-scout and stop being complacent.

The team needs new/outside voices on the offensive coaching staff, promoting some nobody offensive assistant or quality control coach isn't going to cut it.
Absolutely. Nagy and this bum ass WR coach at the very least need to **** off regardless of how this season plays out.

That's it. That's all that has changed when it comes to the offensive personnel on the field from last year to this and yet we've dropped almost a touchdown in PPG and went from a top tier offense to a middle of the pack offense. The problems run far deeper than just the players on the field.

Nope you are missing the point. I am not blaming MVS. What I am pointing out is that if MVS more played to his size, the DB is not as much a part of the play because MVS could have neutralized his ability to make a play on the ball. You see from big receivers all the time in the NFL on plays like that. The problem is MVS does not play to his size. He is a big-sized small receiver.

Last week with you it was Skyy taking a 'step in the right direction' after a breakthrough game with 3 catches for thirty yards. This week it's him reading it right or something in a game where he was on the field for 66 percent of the snaps and got five ****ing yards. But yeah, let's focus on Mahomes. It's obviously all on Mahomes.

Rice might be more physically talented than JuJu but they aren’t exactly interchangeable in usage. Rice better now on boundary than JuJu. Juju last year better than Rice now in middle of field as he can win quickly and present himself as a target.

The Rice volume is high gadget stuff still. They could use him more deep running slants, posts, digs but they are not.

This offense needs to be more vertical and Rice needs to be part of that.

Toney and James need to play WR.

Moore has to stop getting snaps. Rather run 2 tight ends and use Gray than Skyy.

There is something deeply wrong here because we have very limited talent already at WR and they refuse to fix or address usage issues. Let alone accountability. There is none.

I still don't understand why Moore continues to get as many snaps as he does. Chiefs need to move on already. He sucks
