They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

We deserved to lose but it's the mental mistakes that kill me. We shouldn't look sloppy but we often times do.

If only Mahomes could have Tom Brady's brain and not lose his improvisation skills. It's truly between the ears rn.
I mean rashee had 9-10 targets back to back games. He’s still young and has some ways to go.

it’s funny, i keep hearing people say WRs are open left and right but mahomes keeps missing them. Or he needs to get rid of the ball quicker. And yet here we are. On the very few targets we give them Mvs runs a shit route and we force the ball to skyy when it isn’t there. We are trying to avoid throwing to these guys but sooner or later we’re gonna have to give them targets. Because defenses will overemphasize shutting our best guys down until we do.

We can’t keep running an offense that intentionally funnels plays away from our worst guys. I’ve said week after week, mahomes doesn’t trust our WRs and Reid’s playcalling seems to indicate he doesn’t either. And so you see this kind of tentativeness in mahomes that can sometimes look like apprehension or forcing the issue. We need to push the ball downfield to open everything else up and yet we’re reluctant to do so because that means throwing to guys who just aren’t good.

I keep saying it week after week after week after week.

The back half of our WRs… I think by now we can say they suck. Reid knows it. So for the past 2 weeks we’ve been very very reluctant to throw the ball downfield. Instead we rely on lots and lots of sideways passes and WR screens. Last week we used a ton of mesh because the raiders let us do it all night.

We really need to open up the offense because we can only do so much forcing the ball to our top 3 guys. But we get punished every time we do with maddening inconsistency from those guys. Defenses have adapted to our catch and run offense, but we’re stuck in a place where our personnel doesn’t give us any choice but to lean into it.

117 snaps went to WRs who totaled an average of 6.5 targets and 4 receptions the past 2 games. That is THREE GUYS COMBINED. that is a problem.

Also why the hell did we use Noah gray so sparingly

Even coach Reid might not be able to fix this.

Tyreek Hill laughs. Sadly.

On the bright side we may have tapped into something big. Mvs can’t screw up his route when he’s lying on the ground.

Toney and Watson didn't have a single target.

IDGAFF what anyone says, that INT was on Skyy. He is the worst ****ing route runner on the team, that also consists of a completely shitty route runner in MVS. Then we have a WR that the team decides to almost only use as a gadget player (Toney), while our 2nd leading WR (Watson) and leader in YPC has zero ****ing targets. That room is a absolute mess, and it's truly amazing that we are still 8-4 (thanks mainly to our D).

Their OL got to hold and ours didn't. They held Karlaftis over and over and over and no call.

This was bullshit

Their WR's have more talent and are developing. Also, their OL was able to hold most of the game.

Completely agree. They should stop trying to make Moore work. James has experience and needs to take Skyys snaps

What part of our coaching staff makes you think they are capable of making this no brainer adjustments in season?

The fact Skyy is still getting snap % over ****ing James should be all the proof you need.

I ABSOLUTELY hate bitching about refs when we lose a game. Hate it. However, they were so ****ing integral in the outcome, it's hard to ignore. They were part of so many big plays last night, that any one of them could have changed the outcome. The NFL refs are a ****ing clown show, and there's next to no accountability for it. Pathetic.

Even in the preseason we said it. We can retire this thread. Everyone is in agreement the WRs are bottom tier.
