Wake me up when you have a football point to make in this thread dumbass.

When you waste my time with insults don't be surprised when they come back at you. That you are surprised someone fires back only shows the years you have spent on the planet haven't brought you common sense yet.

Here's a football point for you:

The goal is to win the Super Bowl.

If KC ends up with a top ten offense (and that's entirely possible) and a top 5 defense (that's highly likely), that's a pretty tough team to beat.

Nobody cares about your childish desire for fantasy football stats.

We were already going to be a tough team to beat.

You keep missing that.

We have prime Mahomes, Kelce, Chris Jones, one of the best playcallers/offensive minds of all time in Reid, and we heavily invested in defense last year.

The strategy is what do you do from there and I advocated for improving the WR room and you wanted to put your hopes on an injured Toney, a WR signed for 1 million, a 2nd WR who showed ZERO traits his first year and a vet journeyman that no other team ever bothered to use as your WR's. We added a small school WR in the 2nd and you said, We good.

All I said was we needed to add one more vet WR to give ourselves breathing room and you fought against adding ONE player all offseason. You constantly want to give Mahomes less and now you are here pumping your chest because...

We are still a good team?!

Yes, the goal is to win the SB but instead you are like diqlix or a Buffalo fan celebrating regular season wins as if they are the goal.

It's to have guys that can make plays in the biggest games. Right now our roster was mismanaged for no reason and now we have far less room for error.

Go argue with Veach, kiddo. I didn't do anything but agree with the plan.

The deal wasn't there to be made at the price they were willing to pay.

You're all for moving money forward, but the bill comes due. Being a child, with your parents providing for you, you don't have a concept of that yet.

How is it even possible to have a group of consistently negative posters during this age of Chiefs football?

I just don’t get it.

Is it like Hootie and attention? These guys would cover themselves in literal shit to get attention, right?

I have plenty.

I also see that the goal is to build a roster that can win a championship. I happen to think that being able to compete for EVERY championship is preferrable to any particular season.

So I'm not a fan of moving money forward that makes 2024 and 2025 or onward more difficult. I'd rather pay as I go, when I can be a serious contender without mortgaging anything. That's something maybe you do when Mahomes is 38, not 28.

This also means you have to draft and develop your talent. This means sometimes you have to deal with growing pains, much like we did last season with the secondary. Now that secondary is a big reason we're 8-3, while we deal with the growing pains of a young WR corps. It's all good. This offense is only just now showing what it might look like in January and February.

It also means that next season, you have Rice as a dependable WR, you can cut MVS who regressed, and probably sign a Mooney type, draft another WR, and have a decent WR room to pair with what will still be an excellent defense. So you're looking pretty good for a '24 run, too.

It's called patience. That's something children don't have.

Define "negative".

I am hugely optimistic about this team as we have one of the best rosters, coaches, and QB's.

If by negative you mean you can't disagree with the CP group think that wants to deprive Mahomes of weapons then count me in as "negative".

Nobody wants to 'deprive Mahomes of weapons'.

This is why nobody likes you.

Some of us caution against screwing ourselves in the future (still Mahomes prime years) by overspending now, and would prefer to draft and develop our next group of stars so that we can maintain the championship core that we already have.

If Rice becomes a cost controlled, 23 year old Deandre Hopkins, I think that's a pretty ideal situation.

I said before the season that if ONE of these 3 swings and a lotto ticket Veach took turn out, we're fine. Looks like we're fine. Still not sure what the deal is with Toney, and it looks like Moore's a bust and Ross screwed himself, so one HIT, one INCOMPLETE, one MISS, and the lotto ticket shit itself.

I think that pretty squarely paints you as "negative" and it goes well beyond just simple, reasonable criticism of the WR room.

The Green Bay Packers exercised this strategy and won only

1 SB with Aaron Rodgers and rosters that "competed" every year.

It's a play not to lose strategy that of course a Dinosaur like you laps up.

Goal is to finish.

5 straight home AFFCG and a 6th being a real possibility to go with 2 SB wins and 1 SB loss and you get fans like MM.

Try applying your same logic to offensive weapons to the defense which cost us the SB shot in 2018 and made the run exceedingly difficult in 2019.

Veach is working on building a 2 headed monster and he isn't far off.

We've already doubled that in 1/3 the seasons.

I'd say we're doing fine.
