Yeah I'm gonna pass on the 4-7 Saleh experience. Todd Haley's available if you want, though.

Of course not. He was never coming back for 14mm when they structured it with a 2mm dead cap hit in year 3. It was always a 2yr deal.

Yeah 3rd year was just filler. We will have some money to spend next year at WR.

Not a great group.
I would take Jakobi here. Odell too though probably not at his price point. Brandin Cooks was traded for a 5th and 2024 6th. He would have been good. Elijah Moore was also traded at the time and even with broken Watson and PJ Walker as his QBs he's still out gained most of the Chiefs WRs aside from Rice. And I bet there were other WRs that were being shopped that we dont know about or do know about but the trades didn't happen.

Ok, dude. OP said we could’ve signed a big name WR and Wylie instead of Taylor.

Which of those guys is a big name WR that Veach passed on? That was the conversation. Please weigh in.

Cooks has clearly fallen off. Moore seemed interesting. But you want to criticize Veach for other hidden WRs who were being shopped for who knows what whom we didn’t get because Veach failed.

And in any case, you think Andy Reid should model his style after Robert Saleh? Is that what you’re implying? The Chiefs should emulate the Jets?
So, disagreeing is one thing, but name calling is pathetic.

No, it doesn't matter when anyone was available. We didn't have to sign Taylor. At all. We didn't have to let Wiley go. At all.

Veach did not have to let any of this happen. You seem invested in Veach having no blame for this situation.

But, if you wanna be a ****ing bitch and name call like a child instead of argue, you can **** off.

I'll take players who have fallen off but are still out producing our WRs despite having worse QBs throwing to them and worse coaches coaching them.

Cooks has more yards than all our WRs. Same number of touchdowns as all our WRs combined. Is on a one year 6mil deal with the cowboys. You don't think he would have been good here? The bar is pretty low don't ya think?

I again beg the Andrew Wylie truthers to actually watch the man play a game for Washington this year rather than relying on the glue sniffers of PFF.

Yeah I'm not even remotely upset about drafting Wylie. on the other hand, I don't understand our lack of urgency to backfill him. If we had tried drafting his replacement years ago we could have saved us a contract tackle. We're running close to the same risk now at interior OL and TE.

But Veach should burn it down except for Rice. Maybe KT, depending on how he does through however many games he plays when he returns. Otherwise, these guys should all get their walking papers, imo.
MVS is not coming back.
