That was in response to Iowahawkeye chief trying to aww shucks our offensive shortcomings as... We ran the ball well and had some inopportune drops. As if we just clean up the drops and hit the jugs machine and we'll be fine. That drop is symbolic of a bigger problem with mvs and our WRs overall. It wasn't just some one off thing to clean up. We have a WR problem and we just have to hope we keep having games like these where our defense can allow us to sweep it under the rug

Yes, this is incredibly ridiculous at this point in the season. This needs to be corrected like NOW. I still believe we can turn this around and after watching the Eagles game again, WE WERE OUTSTANDING minus the dropped passes and turn overs. It is truly sad that these receivers simply CANNOT CATCH THE DAMN BALL! I really can't believe what I am seeing this season - I never expected this. The good news is this up coming draft is LOADED with WR talent. Please, please Veach get us some of these quality WR's to pair up with an up and coming rice.

Dude, I have managed as many as 1300 people at one time, and yeah, sometimes a little public pressure isn't a bad thing.

I believe in Praise in Public, and Discipline in Private.

However, there are time when your peers hearing that you could do better, actually makes them be better.

I am not rich like you, and I have barely rubbed elbows with players, but I understand how to manage people.

I've managed plenty of people too.

Since when have you been in the public eye and criticized people who work for you such that the public then piles on more than they are already doing?

Do you think MVS walks away from that game feeling like he wasn't at fault at all and just needs more pressure from the public and on social media?

You can give some pointed comments in the locker room that get the point across such that your peers are well aware of what's going on. But commenting on things in a public presser isn't how you best send a message to the people inside the locker room because the collateral damage in that case can be unintended and material.

Philly has an elite run defense and when they committed to stopping the run, they did. We couldn't run the ball in the second half but passing was there for us if we just had the ability to exploit it. And that is the same damn thing we see week to week. The minute defenses dare us to beat us with guys not named Kelce and pacheco we just cannot exploit it. And that is exactly what happened in Philly. At some point we have to consistently win with a script that forces us to win with our WRs

It's still a win. They focused on that, then on kickoffs kicked over Skyy's head, in the rain

No its not, because I'm not making any projections based off it. I'm simply saying that the times that he returned punts earlier this season, he was slow and looked like he had no business doing it.
