We all agree that Rice needs to be fed the ball a lot more. You don't develop guys without throwing them the ball.

And Rice is the only guy worth developing.

I agree with the first two sentences.

I think the third is premature.

Toney.

Technically year 3, but still NY is a dumpster fire, and with the injury situation, we still don't know what he is.

It’s almost like maybe the WRs, Mahomes, and Reid all have some role in the regression. Like many of us have been saying. That it’s not just that our WRs this year are such a step down and don’t know how to play football. That it’s all more complicated and holistic than that.
In 2021 our offense stumbled despite having the same guys as 2020 when Sammy couldn't stay on the field. Defenses threw deep zone and all we had were burners. We had the wrong guys for what defenses threw at us.

So it doesn't matter what defenses threw at us last year. Maybe our current WRs do fine last year. But right now like in 2021 we don't have guys who can adapt. That is on them. If you triple down on running the ball and the entire league gears up in the off-season to stop your specific running game, I'm not blaming the RB for running uphill.

Oh my. You seriously think it’s because we were missing Sammy Watkins who wasn’t even an NFL caliber WR after that season and not because DCs adjusted to our offense?

For real?

Why does Megatron disappear from this thread periodically when it appears he's posted stats that aren't real?

It's odd because he seems like such a stats guru who would dot his i's and cross his t's before posting things.

Lol, the stat comes from Bleacher Report Gridiron. It says so right in the story. And ESPN used that stat earlier today. Pretty sure it was Nicole Briscoe that announced it. Blonde, probably mid-30s. Used to do NASCAR.

Seriously. Do i need more confirmation than BRG and ESPN?

Yeah, maybe tally up some of our individual drops and see how they possibly equal 24? Because that seems like a lot?

Go ahead. i tried. But right now there's at least three different numbers out there for KC WR drops, or KC receiving drops. The lowest number I've seen is 15. The highest is 24. There's 16 and 18 listed in places. Skyy Moore is listed as either 1 or 2 drops, depending on where you look.

And we all know damned well he has more than 2 drops.

But other than actually watching every game again, which I currently can't do, I can't verify any of those numbers.

But you go ahead and do it. Have fun.

According to PFR, KC receivers have dropped 25 passes total through 9 games:

Now tell us how Pro Football Reference suddenly isn't a credible source.

LOL. You were posting in another thread the entire time.

And nine of those drops listed by PFR were by RBs and TEs, which aren’t the WRs you were so desperate to throw under the bus.

It’s shocking that you would casually throw around stats without context to support your argument. Absolutely shocking!
