They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

Why are they better?

Nico Brown struggled last year with "bad QB play", Noah Brown is a journeyman 2017 7th round pick and Tank Dell is a 3rd round pick this year. They are all having good years and what's the common denominator? CJ... Maybe it's because there is no tape on CJ or the Houston offense, but to deny he's making this guys look way better than they should is intellectually dishonest.

No idea if it's a wasted pick yet. He's not needed right now. I was all for trying to get Laporta or Mayer.

It's not that Mahomes forgot how to play, he doesn't have jack squat talent wise.

Rice is the only guy out there worth a damn and he is a 2nd round rookie from a small school that isn't even getting fed yet.

What is insufferable is blaming Mahomes because your takes were shit a few months ago.

Just admit you were wrong and move on.
So no regression from Mahomes? He needs top talent to be great? So Brady is the GOAT in your eyes?

In the draft forum I was an advocate for Kincaid and Laporta.

But Kincaid went before us and Laporta probably wasn't going to go end of 1st.

I think Veach wanted Flowers but didn't like what teams were asking for to move up.

No, he proved last year he doesn't need elite WR talent with Kelce.

He had Kelce and one veteran WR that could get open and move the chains.

They then let that vet walk and had no replacement ready.

CJ Stroud would make Skyy Moore look like Jerry Rice… according to the Chiefs WR Apologists.

The fact that you are willing to blame Mahomes rather than the Chiefs shit WR’s not named Rashee Rice says it all.

Stroud is very good but the OC Slowik is the true star, IMO.

He wasn't there last year.

Time will tell.

So we are missing Bienemy? That could be part of the issue as they try to figure it out and all get on the same page.

Again, My point is it's not just the receivers, they definitely need to improve. I just know that Mahomes is hesitant to pull the trigger this year and has made some bad decisions. This may be due to his lack of trust in this WR room, but he IS the leader and needs to get it figured out and lead the offense to improvement. I have no doubt he and the offense will get better in this offensive down year in the NFL.

Yeah, when they are drawing up plays to feature Skyy Moore, not an actual NFL WR or Justin Watson, a career special teams back of the roster guy then other team's defenses are licking their chops.

Too easy to defend.

You really think Mahomes should have to elevate guys that would not see the field on any other team?!

Bienemy, not missing him so much as the vacuum left has made Nagy more prominent. Nagy's ideas are awful and should not added to any gameplan.

we need to find a Kelce receiver. Someone that can read the defense and know how to get open and Mahomes just finds him like he finds Kelce. That would player would have be talented enough to get Mahomes' trust because I think that's an underrated factor that goes into how many targets a receiver is going to get.

I never really realized that the Chiefs have Kelce run "Kelce routes" until I heard them talking about it on their podcasts, he just reads the defense and knows where to go on the fly.

Every NFL team would like to add a HOF player.

Kelce is a unicorn which is why we should not be goofing around and saving money for 3-4 years from now but playing to win NOW.

The point is they didn't replace their #1 WR from last year in FA and they haven't done it with any of the guys they drafted or brought in on the cheap either.

Who would you have signed? And, what would that have done to the current roster? I anxiously await your answer.
