They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

Considering the fact that Kelce will be 35 years old next October, this upcoming offseason would be a good time to figure out who will be Mahomes' go to target in this offense, post-Kelce.

Win the whole ****ing thing? They'll be patient and draft one - or maybe not address the position at all.
It'll be interesting to see. I'm wondering how the pendulum swings. Alot of the defense is gonna probably be leaving, so it may be at it's peak and you'll need to build the offense to carry some more slack.

I think they get aggressive with it.

This past off season would have been a better time to do that

We wasted a pick on a talented but non-existent DE in a historically good TE draft.

Veach has been a great GM but he did inherit 2 HOF playmakers in Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill.

He traded away one of the HOF players and the other is aging out.

In 6 drafts Veach has managed to find one playable WR in Rashee Rice. He needs to take his normally aggressive nature and focus it on the WR room immediately because if the plan is to draft and develop WRs, 1 WR in 6 drafts is not even close to good enough.

He did find the greatest QB talent ever in NFL history but that talent needs guys to throw to.

You skipped the part where he traded one of those HOFers and proceeded to win a SB in large part because he had the best draft in this teams history.

You also forgot how he built this elite defense we have right now.

I guess that's just a side note though

Once veach is committed to fixing something he does. He upgraded an entire OL in one season. I think we sometimes get into the habit of reacting to offense issues vs reacting. But I have plenty of faith this is on his radar and it will be fixed now that we're on it. Meantime we will make it work same way weve done with less than ideal OLs.

I've obviously been visibly frustrated at how we went about it. But most of my gripe is about the past not the future. Here's where you gotta just trust in veach

I don't want to take away from the point of this post because I think it's necessary for all of us to appreciate the era we're in as much as possible.

I need to point out that the Chargers continue to be put in as a group that has done something. At least the Bills and Bengals have made the playoffs consistently. Forget sustained success, can the chargers have just any success first?

So team figures that might as well use him less and let him get back to full speed.

And now that he is near full speed, when Chiefs call a play for him, he thinks he is Mike Alstott and breaking tackles and hitting defenders trying to tackle him and looking like he thinks he is invincible.

Chiefs will get him more snaps and plays as they build towards postseason. They may need him to run more plays so that he gets a little tired and stops trying to run over every tackler and trying so hard on every carry.
I hope that is the plan but at the end of the day this is NFL football not tiddlywinks. It is a violent and physical sport and I bet some of his reactions is trying to prove to others and most likely to himself he isn't injury prone.

It's hard to win consistently when you don't play a single home game all season.
