Let's talk about the Miami Dolphins
Here is my $500,000 question on this game.

Will Spags and Co play it straight and keep their powder dry for the playoffs?

Last season the Chiefs defense (and maybe Andy, don't recall) kept things very vanilla when they went to Cincy.

They lost that battle, but won the war, because the defensive wrinkles Spags wanted to use against the Bengals were unveiled in the AFC Championship and held their offense at bay just enough for gimpy Mahomes to drag us over the finish line late.

Will Spags come into this game guns blazing and try to take out the Dolphins early this season? OR will he keep his cards hidden for the real season?

Look at how much open space is in front of Creed. It's ridiculous that QB sneak is off the playbook. Mahomes could have gotten 5 yards here bc they know we won't do the sneak but are literally begging us to do it.

Mahomes should have said "**** it I'm changing the play to sneak it."

Screamed this at TV live. It was a gimme. A first down here makes it very hard for Miami to win. Not quite a clincher, but man it would've been all but over .

I can see Reid calling a sneak or option to audible to a sneak as a tendency breaker. The question is, will he do it in a high-leverage moment in a playoff game or a throwaway moment against the Faders?

If you go back and look at the GDT we saw this. It's become beyond ridiculous. But it's not going to change. When you consider how frequently it comes up and the number of drives stalled, it's malpractice.

Yeah, I see the appeal in going for the sneak but I’m also a huge fan of plays that don’t require our All-Universe QB to be touched by defenders.

Pat seems to have a lot of issues with dings and soft tissue injuries so any play call that ends with him under several hundred pounds of guys who’d like to take his head off is less than ideal.
