Hypothetical…the Pats fans are PISSED with Juju and want him cut after he basically lost them the game yesterday (along with the fact that he’s been a nonfactor for them this year). I’d take him back in a heartbeat. He had a good rapport with mahomes and was a good fit in our offense.

I’d gladly take juju back if they release him. But that’s not going to happen.

Or maybe target Rice for more than 2 targets in the game. One is a YAC TD the other a great lay out catch. But nothing else. As much as our War’s are struggling this year, how does that happen?

The Chiefs should go back to a 5 WR rotation… Rice, MVS, Toney, Watson, and Hardman.
That’s what they have traditionally done until this year’s WR rotation on steroids. |

Mahomes and the defense will probably drag this team to the AFC Championship game, but Veach basically sabotaged the offense before the season even started. |

Yeah that shit is egregious. His last target was 9 min left in the 2nd quarter. This shit is on Andy and Mahomes too and they have to take some of the blame for this. Enough of the God damn excuses.

Remember Andy's first year here when the receivers had no touchdowns? Sure it was Alex Smith throwing it but at least our receivers have some touchdowns I guess. The year after they went and signed Maclin to "fix it" and I could see them trying to make something happen next offseason with WR. They probably thought Mahomes would just be slinging it to anybody but obviously we see now that he needs someone to rely on besides just Kelce.

I know a lot of you disagree, but things are just a tick off, and it's not as simple as 'the WR's are XFL caliber'.
We've seen over the years, even during the Tyreek years that when this offense is a tick off, it can look pretty bad. When you look at the all-22 view, you can frequently see that there are guys open, but someone missed a block, or that Mahomes just missed a guy, or should have taken the outlet, or this, or that. I'm not saying the WR play is without criticism, I'm just saying it's not a huge gaping talent hole like some of you insist. There are several plays there every game that we're not hitting, and that's the difference between a top 5 offense and a #15 offense. We're not that far away, and I have faith in Andy and Patrick to get it together. I DO think it's time to narrow the rotation, I can't imagine that having that many bodies going in and out all of the time is helpful when it's a 'feel' problem. Nothing has 'failed' yet. We're halfway through the season, 7-2, and in the driver's seat for HFA. This is still not the finished product on offense. If anything has 'failed', it's that Moore does not look to have any juice, and they've been lowering his snap counts already. I don't understand the Toney usage. I really don't. Rice is getting the snaps, but not the targets and he's often open. That's not a 'Rice talent' issue. It's all just a little out of synch. Gods help the team on the other side when it snaps into focus. |

So we adapt. We run the ball more, a lot more 12 personnel (gray has a low ceiling as a wr but he’s effective enough). You put the big boy pants on rashee. He’s getting the snaps but we need to expand how we use him. Stop ****ing around with rotations and just give mahomes a consistent rotation. You gotta make do with a less than ideal rotation that has either skyy taking on lots of reps or Mvs/Watson on the field at the same time, which is less ideal. And you tell Toney or James to shit or get off the pot next year. We open up the creative playbook late in the season to scheme guys open. And we manage games so the defense can win them for us. It’s not my favorite approach but it will work. Then let’s get after this in the offseason and make offense priority #1. |

Bad news: Jalen Ramsey was mugging the shit out of him the entire 2nd half. I think there were 2 holding penalties that were directly from doing that to him.
