I think right now there are probably 2 WR rooms worse than ours. Giants, patriots. If we're being generous... Arizona and Carolina and maybe green bay. Yeah I get that Kelce is a stud but from a pure wr perspective its easily bottom 5.

Collins was a JAG until Stroud arrived and elevated him. The play calling and Mahomes himself are both factors here.

I think a big part is the mindless WR rotation. Look at box scores around the NFL - teams with good offensive performances generally have 2-3 receivers with a significant chunk of targets and then everyone else maybe gets a couple of targets a game. In games where the offense has struggled (or every game besides LAC and CHI) you generally see 7+ receivers all with a similar amount of targets. If you are spreading the ball around that much with nobody but Kelce getting a significant amount of snaps, routes, and targets relative to everyone else then something clearly isn’t right.

We’ve always been told Reid can scheme anyone open, so what gives? Pick your “go to” guys and find ways to scheme them open. Make 2-3 guys a priority in the offense. Hard for anyone to get in a rhythm when you’re constantly switching up the rotation. Also, MVS and Watson should never be on the field at the same time.

At this point, I'm not sure that any team would trade any of their WRs for one of ours. Whether that makes ours the worst WR room in the league, I don't know.

For the record, Collins and Dell are both 3rd rd picks in the past few years. Houston has less invested on offensive weapons than KC, they’ve just hit with their picks where we have struck out on nearly every pick.

Dell is a rookie though and hasn’t done any better than Rice prior to this week. Why is it that Collins and Dell are that much more impressive than Kelce and Rice? Dell had 11 targets, seems like when you give talented players a high workload it pays off. Rice getting 2 targets and absolutely nothing in the second half is inexcusable.

This is getting a bit ridiculous. Do we have a receptions committee now?

As long as they are winning, I'm sure Mahomes is not getting frustrated. It's clear that with a 21-0 lead at halftime, Reid put the offense in bubble wrap. We've seen Reid go conservative with a double digit lead soooo many times and yet the narrative of "what's wrong with the offense" continues.

You're just completely wrong with your take on Collins. Dude has skills and size. (6'4" 215.) The Texans had shit everywhere when he was drafted. Dude put in the work and now it's paying off with the new coaching staff. He has helped Stroud just as much if not more than Stroud has helped him. Especially early in the season.

KC's WR's are the biggest problem with the team right now. More than Mahomes and the play calling. (But thet are factors for sure) It's not just my take, it's most everyone's except all the "smart" people here. You guys ....

Lol, you're "sure Pat' not frustrated, eh? Have you been watching the post-game pressers? He's definitely not happy, if he's not frustrated, bud.

And by the way, the offense managed just two scores on 9 drives. That's a stellar 22% success rate. And it's not just this game. Over the last four games, the Chiefs have managed just 7 TDs on 39 scoring drives. That's a bottom-dwelling 17.9% rate.

That's what's wrong with the offense, duh.
