Yea, his lone target of the day says otherwise.

They need to play him more and stop billshiting.

He’s good for two plays a game. One good one and one bad one.

They are trying to limit the amount of bad plays with the guy.

He’s a jag. Gone hopefully after this season.

I would prefer they try Toney in the plays where they try to feature Skyy Moore.

Ok and yes they thought that. Per this article though they had to decide back in March in regards to his roster bonus but with the new contract they pushed that back to May to give us more flexibility.

I wish they would have made a trade at the deadline.

Yeah, KT's not even getting snaps now, so the coaches must have decided that Toney isn't worth putting on the field? They'd rather put Skyy/Watson out there instead? Just very discouraging. Our primary WRs are now Rice, MVS and Watson, lol. What a cluster****

Right, but the point remains that they had the $$$ to use but didn't.

If nothing else they should have always had 10 million ready in reserve to use at trade deadline. Putting all your eggs in the basket of Skyy (who did nothing last year) Toney a part-time player, and a second round rookie on a SB contender was a gamble.

And then your top paid guy is MVS who is really a pricey decoy who can't track the ball downfield.

This is the group two time Superbowl champ GM put on the table for the Chiefs. It never mattered what any Chiefs fans thought of the receivers or if we should have Hopkins or not. It literally made zero difference.

Next year they are going to think to themselves "okay, Michael Jordan can't win it with division 2 college level players, we gotta get him somebody"

actually it will be more like "okay, Michael Jordan can win with that but be would be winning harder if we get him more talent at WR" and then there is the salary cap

The only thing that makes any sense to me, is that Andy is holding him back on purpose only to later exploit the lack of film other teams have a little later into the season... 5D chess, Jedi mind tricks, etc

I think Reid was load managing Pacheco like that last year but I don't think that's what is happening with Toney.

I don't know what they are thinking and doing there but they don't use him even when all we needed was one drive to finish them in the 2nd half and our offense never could deliver.

One reason everyone disappeared in the second half. There were only seven pass attempts. The "drives" were all so short.
