Let's talk about the Miami Dolphins

Here is my $500,000 question on this game.

Will Spags and Co play it straight and keep their powder dry for the playoffs?

Last season the Chiefs defense (and maybe Andy, don't recall) kept things very vanilla when they went to Cincy.

They lost that battle, but won the war, because the defensive wrinkles Spags wanted to use against the Bengals were unveiled in the AFC Championship and held their offense at bay just enough for gimpy Mahomes to drag us over the finish line late.

Will Spags come into this game guns blazing and try to take out the Dolphins early this season? OR will he keep his cards hidden for the real season?

It happened in 21, too, with that awful offensive stretch in midseason.

Let's not overreact to a game in which Mahomes was recovering from the flu, the team had two really back-breaking fumbles that created a 10-point swing, and a team the Chiefs hadn't been embarrassing for years played inspired football while the Chiefs eyed a big matchup the following week.

For ****'s sake.
After '21, I'll believe anything is possible.

Even if they lose the next couple games... **** it, go on a run and see you in the AFCCG.

Depends on our defense and if our wr catch passes. They are doubling kelce.
I am okay with a loss if it motivates them in the playoffs.

They left MEHHH behind so it’s a guaranteed win.

No additional analysis needed.

This offense is not what it once was. Last year we were 1st.

It due to using the jet stream to go faster. Plus to avoid any storm systems

1. Because the earth isn't flat. A straight line would = more miles traversed than using the curvature of the earth.
2. Utilizing jet streams w/tail wind means a faster flight + less fuel used.
3. Safety. In case of an emergency, being closer to land is better than being over open water.

From this weeks George Blowfish’s column

I don’t think KC meant to mail this one in, but the proverbial “Trap Game” sure reared it’s ugly Donkey Shaped head. I heard Mitch Holthus say this afternoon that he was studying road team games prior to having to travel to Europe, and since this European Vacation thing started with the NFL, every team who played a road game before traveling to Europe lost.

I like this attitude. The 10-6 NYG, led by a QB who looks he has down syndrome, beat the 16-0 Patriots who had arguably GOAT QB in the SB.

Anything is possible man. Long season!
