Let's talk about the Miami Dolphins

Here is my $500,000 question on this game.

Will Spags and Co play it straight and keep their powder dry for the playoffs?

Last season the Chiefs defense (and maybe Andy, don't recall) kept things very vanilla when they went to Cincy.

They lost that battle, but won the war, because the defensive wrinkles Spags wanted to use against the Bengals were unveiled in the AFC Championship and held their offense at bay just enough for gimpy Mahomes to drag us over the finish line late.

Will Spags come into this game guns blazing and try to take out the Dolphins early this season? OR will he keep his cards hidden for the real season?

You being a Reerun > Reality
Would you feel better if the Chiefs were top 5 in scoring?

It would take 18 more points to get there:

We had first and goal at the Jacksonville 1, but took a knee to kill the clock. There’s 7 points.

MVS had a TD called back against the Bears due to a phantom penalty and we kicked a field goal instead. There’s 4 points.

Mahomes slid at the 1 instead of scoring against the Jets. There’s 7 points.

18 points total on 2 decisions not to score and 1 called back TD due to a phantom penalty.

Hard to imagine what exactly will take place with so many variables, but the Chiefs coming off a loss doesn't bode well for the fins. Pat seems full of fire and as an opposing team that's not where you want him.

Does the Chiefs offense currently look like an Alex Smiff-limited type offense?

Yes or no.

You live down to your Reerun reputation when you can’t acknowledge basic facts/realities.

Not going to make up touchdowns for the Chiefs and magically take them away from the Dolphins, just pointing out the percentage isn't all that far off given small sample sizes and other variables.
We know Andy Reid doesn’t run the score up like several other teams do.

Bills, Dolphins, Ravens, etc. They always run it up when they can. Andy is content to win with as little on film as possible.

The Chiefs scored one TD in 8 quarters vs the 29th ranked scoring defense.

Average ranking for the Chiefs scoring offense during Alex Smiff’s five seasons as the starting QB: 10th

Current ranking for the Chiefs scoring offense this season: 12th

The Chiefs offense is not right currently.

Not sure why this is even up for debate?

The strange thing about the internet is if the Chiefs offense doesn't look great, the reeruns who are so hellbent on "proving" the offense hasn't been good will rush back on Sunday to gloat they were "right" about their favorite football team not being good (obviously doesn't apply to everyone pointing out struggles, just the 88s and shrinks of the board spamming the thread for attention).

I told you idiots our favorite team isn't very good, hahaha! **** you for having faith!!

Some people really don't deserve this team.

(of course, the rest of us will just wait for the postseason like every other season)

No, they don't.

They look like a top 10 offense on average, as opposed to the best, but they still have looked like a top 5 offense at times too. Just not finishing drives. That doesn't make them an Alex Smith offense.

God damn you're ****ing reeruned.
Top 10 offenses score more than one TD in 8 quarters vs Vance Joseph’s defense.

So strange that Reeruns such as yourself and STaylor get triggered when the Chiefs get criticized after a bad game and with re-occurring issues on offense through eight games.

Travis Kelce said the same thing about the offense yesterday… are you triggered over his criticism as well?

Travis Kelce's criticism was fair. It wasn't full of doom and gloom. It wasn't coming from a whiny butthurt fan like yourself and the others.

Do you honestly believe that Travis Kelce would be co-signing the shit some of you all are spewing?
