They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

Kelce is a plus player and so is Rice. He's only gonna get better as the year goes on. Rice was first among receivers in snaps in Denver.

I think Toney's toe injury is bothering him which is why his snap count has been much lower.

They need to focus the offense on Kelce, Rice, Pacheco and gadget/screens through Hardman and sometimes Toney. Hardman, Toney and MVS have legit speed. Rice has legit YAC ability. Use those guys to get chunk plays.

To be fair, this is why it is hard to repeat in any professional league. Only natural players get complacent, injuries happen etc etc.

I basically covered it in my other post, but it doesn't really have anything to do with ignoring issues, it's more about acknowledging nobody has a clue as to what will happen, so why predict doom and gloom and then extrapolate it out for the entirety of Mahomes' career (I wish that was hyperbole, but sadly it's not for some).

You started earlier with "How many games will this stubborn type of attitude cost them?" and "the offense looks like balls for huge periods of time".... that seems far more like bait than discussing the issues to me, not sure what else you could expect from the responses.. and then add in your history of making the worst of everything.

The discussion earlier with some of the film breakdown was great... nobody was taking one play and extrapolating it to the playoffs and beyond, it was just taking a few plays for what they're worth.... a few plays, and analyzing what might have happened.

Shit goes downhill when it's "derp, they lost to the Broncos, no way they'll beat the Dolphins!!" and the impending doom of the postseason, etc.

Nobody ****ing knows.

This forum never fails to deliver...

There was a comment comparing playing poor teams to a root canal; well, I sat in the chair for three hours this morning. Between the $1k out of pocket and pain, I'd much rather sit and watch the Chiefs/Broncos game again.

Without alcohol or gummies...

Maybe our resident dentist can answer this one...

Why do they ask questions and try to talk to you when they have their hands, the assistants hands and several instruments in your mouth?

Gotta applaud them for sticking to the plan. We might not like it, but these coaches see something in Skyy Moore that we aren’t seeing. Something that requires development but offers significant upside.

They see a vision where this WR group is hitting their stride in December.

I sure hope they’re right.

It's human nature to defend and persist in high profile decisions, even in the face of contradictory evidence. It was interesting watching how uncomfortable Veach appeared stretching to defend his drafting of Moore in that video posted here yesterday. A pick so against chalk, equivalent to a Reid cute horizontal short yardage play call, that it was easy for any amateur to criticize at the time.

These guys are highly successful humans, doing what comes with that territory. They've managed to build a near dynasty by getting by far the most important decision right in the 2017 draft, and for that they get unending gratitude. But we can still acknowledge, without being unthankful or disloyal, that the WR situation is mostly ****ed up for this season, and wonder about the talent evaluation at that particular position if somehow the FO actually believed wbf with Toney and Moore as #1 and #2. I just can't get past how short sighted that seemed, and many of us were saying it preseason and getting shouted down because "2 rings".

I wonder if it's a combination of that and load managing Toney.
See what you can get from Moore and if he doesn't show anyhting after a few more games give Toney the snaps.

I think the plan was to do with the WRs what they did to the CBs last year.

Cheap, talented guys and let them grow as the year goes on.

The issue I have is that they don't have a McDuffie and they didn't find a Josh Williams and Jaylon Watson at WR.

Their plan made sense but once they saw Skyy doesn't belong on an NFL field and Toney always hurt and MVS is what he is they could have used that new data to make an adjustment.

Seriously, you think Andy couldn't get to and win just one SB with the SF team as it's constructed right now?

Aiyuk, Deebo, Kittle, Juszcyk (sp?), CMC, Trent Williams, Bosa, Fred Warner, Greenlaw, Hafunga (sp?), Gipson, etc.? And then add Travis Kelce? I mean, how many Pro-Bowlers/future HOFers are on that team?

And while we had a decent/good defense back in 2016, we never had SF's top-5 defense for the last, what? 5 years, until this season.

So, what you guys are saying is that Andy is such a bad coach that with a top-5 defense and one of the most talented offenses from top to bottom, he couldn't win even ONE Super Bowl over the last 5-6 years?

Shit. He found ways to win with the likes of Matt Moore and Chad Henne. But Andy's not good enough to find a way to win one championship with one of the most talented rosters in the NFL over the last 5 years.

The disrespect for Andy is really dumbfounding, lol.

He looks absolutely fine. Hes just a below avg wide receiver. Nonetheless he should still be getting snaps over Skyy Moore who is not a NFL WR.
