Admittedly picking nits here:

The Chiefs were driving for the double digit lead when Mahomes had the ball slip out of his hand. That led directly to the tying TD.

The Chiefs were the better team even without Hill.

That's not really the question though. The question is, would you rather have a combination of Tranquil and James, or Hopkins?

Given the money we spent on those two, we likely coulda worked out a deal for a Hopkins. I think having a Hopkins in that WR room to help out guys like Moore, Toney, Rice etc while also being a guy that Mahomes would trust and rely on, wouldve been a greater addition and money better spent.

Bye week is coming soon and that's when the Chiefs like to scout themselves. We'll see what happens after then.

Old enough to remember when we were wasting prime Mahomes on shit tackles last season and Veach was terrible for relying on Orlando and Wylie.

I'm confident we'll get this figured out like we did last year.

I know, and you're right. I'm still just butt hurt over the whole deal. I just figured Hill was a unicorn, and you never trade them. And it doesn't help matters that every time I turn on a Miami game, I see that dude is going off. I have ISSUES that I need to better manage when it comes to the whole Hill trade.

Me too. I aint all that worried about it.

Doesn't mean we should all just stick our heads in the mud and pretend that the Chiefs aren't struggling in certain areas right now.

With one guy taking up that amount of space, you aren't getting a 9ers roster or a Bengals WR core.
Someone should have told that to: Philly/Bills/Ravens/Cowboys because they all have targets and good defenses (Oh and very high paid QB's)

I feel ya. It's a little insult to injury seeing him have back to back career years while we struggle to find a WR worth a damn. I feel the same way. Dont trade unicorns. CJ is also a unicorn.

BUT, the Chiefs got a SB win....so, perspective.

Not saying we're better or worse. But the claim seems to be that we don't make a super bowl without tyreek as if to ignore that it took a gigantic second half collapse on offense to keep us out of the super bowl vs the rams. What if in that game we had juju and pacheco. I'm good with the tyreek trade but that offense was with those changes was probably plenty good enough to win a super bowl too

Philly who's QB's extension hasn't kicked in yet and spent 1st rounders on both it's WR's when he was on a rookie deal?

The Cowboys who have had a couple top 10 picks to get their defenders?

Sure, we could do that. We're gonna need to have a shit season though. Probably like their 6 and 10 season before drafting Micah, or an 8 and 8 to get up to get CeeDee.

I really don't get the Toney thing. He missed TC for sure, which sucked but is he still hurt?

He's getting like 10 snaps a game and was supposed to be the #1 guy?
