We couldn't afford Hopkins, who was largely a disappointment before this last week, especially in value relative to Rashee Rice's production.

MVS AND Watson are vastly out producing Odell.

The Chiefs made the right decision passing on both.

Draft a 1st round WR is the solution we've fallen to here it seems.

What I really don't get is why is Skyy still eating so many snaps when he's shown next to nothing at the NFL level while Toney has been relegated to the bottom of the depth chart. If he's still not 100% then shut him down and let him get healthy, and if it's just the organization losing faith after the Detroit debacle then they'd very well better be active today at the deadline.

Somehow we've transitioned from leaning heavily into our Superstar QB's strengths, and into being a defensive team with a strong OL (a strong OL that struggles to run the ball btw).

And apparently acknowledging that makes you a really bad poster.

We finally get our star QB and some of us want to see that trend of a high flying unstoppable offense continue, even if that means we surrender more points. Football is entertainment afterall, and offense entertains me.

Obviously the Chiefs won the SB last year with a similar formula. But they've also won the SB while being a high flying offense with a middle pack defense. Clearly both can work and i don't doubt that we can win the SB like this THIS year.

But if given the choice, i wanna see scoring.

LOL claiming D-Hop was a disappointment when he had Brodie Croyle/Tyler Thigpen level QB's throwing to him.

The way his contract is set up, they absolutely could have afforded him, and they still can.

This is my biggest gripe. He's our best player in space and needs to be getting the ball alot.

I don't get it.

They did try the high flying powerful offense when they had rookie QB money and 2 in their prime hall of famers. It's kinda set the expectations to be...pretty wonky IMO.

Maybe I'm wrong here, but **** give me winning. That entertains me alot.

It works out sometimes. Not all the time. He had years in Philly trotting out the likes of James Trash and Todd Pinkston. Lets not forget the 0 TD's to WR's year in KC.

He doesn't have a track record of drafting WR's high.

Somtimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't. When you score 9 points against the hapless Donks, that's a great example of it biting us in the ass.

You just hope that it doesn't bite us in the ass in the playoffs.

Only thing I can think of is they lost faith in him because he is so injury prone
