Nah I’m good. Don’t want Hill on the team.

Would rather have cap room and Karlaftis/McDuffie, whichever one was selected with the dolphins pick.

Holy ****. I knew staying away this week was probably the best option.

Should've known the levels of reeruned would be this high.

They've won what they've won, it's hard to keep the edge forever. Shit happens.

I wasn't a fan of it when I saw the WS stuff either. Kinda surprised Andy was ok with it.

I get it, but there's some validity to the "just keep elite players and deal with the rest" stuff.

I'm kinda on the side of trading him for that price, but could be talked into it.

They won with the group they had last year, but also got like 10 TD's from a RB catching passes out of the backfield.

It isn't that Hill got traded, yes it sucks trading one of the best playmakers in the game, it's that we haven't replaced playmakers.

We're getting old and not adding new playmakers to replace them.

The team could be essentially the same except we likely wouldn't have Mcduffie. But then we could have used our first this year on Porter jr...

Would have Tyreek, Rice, and Kelce on offense. But we'd also lose Skyy Moore

The WR and QB play are both an issue and they need both to get better, and Mahomes as the GOAT plays a big role in that happening. If it's just the WR's, then Mahomes is no different than a 1st pick QB going to a shitty franchise with little talent and struggling and failing. Mahomes will figure it out as well as the receivers, and with this defense, it will be a good year.
Mahomes and reid need to be better. But of course there will be more excuses when they are working around a WR group that has been maybe the worst in the league. The root cause is bad wr play and Reid and mahomes underperforming are symptoms.

When mahomes does trust his WRs, they make mistakes - key drops, bad adjustments, badly missing their spots. When he doesn't trust them he presses. And when teams like Denver throw a spy on him he can't just bail. If you're going to ask him to take what he's given these WRs can't be messing up. Tiny mistakes are drive killers if we're going to be an efficient offense. And efficient offenses have to be capped up with red zone effectiveness which we don't have right now

I mean, we all agree that skyy/toney/mvs have been flat out bad regardless of mahomes. Why can't we just start there and say maybe we should adjust our rotation. I want talent but right now all i want is consistency and reliability so we can get into some damn rhythm.

Question:

Grapes missed Adams on two EASY deep shots last night. Both of them were long TDs, the latter a walk-in.

Should Adams stop running the routes because 'he doesn't trust Grapes to make the throw...'? Would we be making excuses for him if he did?

Worry. About. You.

Run your route - if he misses the throw, he misses the throw. Make your read, fire your pass - if the guy drops it, he drops it.

You just cannot succeed out there worrying about everyone else doing their job. Because that's going to snowball into the comedy of errors we saw on Sunday.

Adams is so visibly annoyed with that team, he looks like he wishes he could just off Jimmy and McDaniels.
