Mahomes never trusted Mecole but now they bring him back because the new guys are EVEN WORSE than Mecole was who never gained Mahomes trust because he never did things Mahomes expected.

Guys are open before he scrambles, he's not pulling the ****ing trigger... Period. The WR's aren't great, but Patricks not elevating them this year at all. He is struggling with issues, whether that be trust or something else, but if he is the GOAT he will figure it out and I trust he will...

This seems similar to the last year with Hill when Mahomes had something like 10 INTs in a 7 game stretch, was bailing clean pockets, and in general not seeing the field well as he forced the ball to Hill too much.

The 2021 Mahomes hiccups were about the NFL adjusting to our vertical shots and taking them away. Both Reid/Mahomes were addicted to verticals and we struggled when they weren't there.

Last year we built an offense that countered back to take the efficiency that teams were giving us because they were playing so deep. So we were doing quick outlets to RB's and short throws that were wide open.

Now teams see our WR's and say, " You not only don't have Tyreek, we have no fear of your guys."

So the throws to the flats against Denver were swarmed. Denver dared us to rain bombs on them and we had no firepower to do so.

Rashee drops the ball all the time. Mahomes trusts him. It isn’t about drops.

It’s an anticipation problem. He can’t anticipate WRs breaking open if he has no idea where they’re going to be. And so hes late and indecisive. And who can blame him.

You can’t cherry-pick shots of a wr getting open. it's easy to do from here. But if you go through multiple progressions and the dude keeps losing or hitting the wrong spots, of course good chance you miss him that 5th time when he finally breaks free or does his job right. And when you go through several progressions where you wait on WRs to separate and none of them do, you're gonna get happy feet.

I'm not even advocating for world beaters. Much as I want talent at WR. Juju had no talent but he was reliable at doing exactly what mahomes wanted him to do. We need consistency and reliability from our WRs. And the top 3 guys we've featured (skyy,mvs, toney) are the three least reliable guys we've had

Not a defender within 7 yards of Watson on that play and Mahomes is looking towards his side of the field with time.

Danan can **** off bc 7 yards open in this league is like 15 in college
