I doubt Andy rips too many players privately. He doesn't seem like the angry type.

He and Veach should take a lot of the blame for trying to turn shit into candy. Toney, Moore, and MVS are simply not good enough to be reliable #1 through #3 receivers. That should have been foreseeable going into the season. You can yell and scream at these players but they're being overplayed in spots they can't handle. It's a talent issue.

Agreed which is where you circle back to juju. Say what you want about the guy but mahomes trusted the hell out of him and it wasn’t on the deep stuff. He doesn’t need all world talent. But he really needs a safety valve outside of kelce. If he’s to operate in a lot of shorter spaces it needs timing and precision to be on point, and every small mistake becomes a drive killer.

Winning the SB last year kinda lets Veach off the hook for trading Hill, but in hindsight he should've been paid his asking price.

I think he still felt like shit and it looked like he wanted to avoid contact and I don't blame him. Seemed like there were a few plays where he would've took off in previous games, but he danced around longer yesterday. It very likely will.

If James is anything like the guy he was in NY, he'll be fine out there. He's a solid player.

He didn't demonstrate it in his short run here, but I think he can. And if he does, you're getting so little out of those snaps right now that even 50 yards/gm from him is as big an improvement as you'd get by trading Rice for Devante Adams.

We're just getting NOTHING from Moore. So the marginal improvement will be massive by even getting to league average.
