They might just try to bring back Juju, who has Mahomes trust. We'd have to work out the financials with them to not absorb the gauranteed but it could happen.

And yes Juju is a ticking time bomb but he's cheap and knows Patrick and can play half the snaps.

Other options are either too expensive or learning the offense/building trust which takes time.

There is no chemistry between Mahomes and the receiver room.

Some of this is on Mahomes. This doesn't make any sense

Hate to say it but a lot of this is on Mahomes. On that Skyy Moore drop, Toney was wide open on the sideline and could’ve walked in to the endzone. There are tons of times during a game this happens. Mahomes has no trust in his receivers

If he saw Toney, I'm sure he would have thrown to him over Moore. But I get your point.

I think it's clear as day he has no confidence in this group and is leaning too much on waiting for Kelce to find a hole that might be more comfortable for Pat than throwing a quick cross to someone like Moore or Watson.
Yes.

When a QB isn't getting time to throw, I don't blame them for getting jittery. That's basic self-preservation.

When a QB gets plenty of time to throw (Mahomes does) and just won't make the reads and throw the ball, yes, you can blame him for it.

Stop trying to do their jobs for them. Do your job. Throw the damn football.

If they don't catch it, you forcing the next one into Kelce isn't going to help things (like the INT he threw). The alternatives are no better. So you have what you have - live with it. And if it's not enough then it gets addressed the following season.

But this isn't a situation like Jordan not having anyone he wants taking the last shot so he takes it himself. He HAS to get a ball to someone. So run the offense, throw it to the open man and the chips will fall where they fall.

The hero ball shit and locking onto Kelce is creating more problems than it solves.

Mahomes is definitely an issue, but you can’t point to that specific play. He gave Moore a perfectly placed ball that would have been a TD. NFL receivers make that catch in that moment.
