Only way Denver would do that is if they believe Jeudy would hurt the Chiefs.

But after that?

Ah yes, the greatness of Todd Pinkston and James Thrash.

Let me start off by eloquently addressing all of your points: WHO CARES.

Seriously.

Who ****ing cares if they got off to a rough start. It was fun to bitch about when it was happening but we're beyond that now.

The plan was obvious once we reached camp. The Vets that we'll ride or die with are MVS and Watson. Beyond that, it's one big bag of "who ****ing knows". Practice them, play them and see how it shakes out.

This is how it was ALWAYS going to be:

1st quarter: WR by comittee until players begin separating themselves.

2nd quarter (We're here): Players begin separating, snap counts begin adjusting

3rd quarter: The guys who've emerged continue to see an increased role, other guys slide into a complimentary role.

4th quarter: Ideally, we hit full stride, players are established and we go into the playoffs knowing exactly who they are, who's a REAL target and who's a compliment.

Going into this process, the Chiefs knew they had two vets and a bunch of talent. Of the group of Moore, Toney, Rice and Ross, it is RICE that has risen and separated himself.

It will be RICE moving forward. Everything is going according to plan. Chillax. Quit worrying about the 1st quarter of the season. This is what a youth movement looks like. And quite frankly, it's exciting.
Ok, then tell people to stop revising history as if our pass offense didn't have problems early on. The same people who insist that this was expected are the same ones who get defensive as hell at any minor criticism. You can’t play both sides of the fence and insist “we knew it would be bumpy” then get defensive as hell when everyone hints at any early bumpiness.

this whole shit started when o.city called people stupid as shit for having the audacity to not effusively praise our first half performance. Of course I’m not gonna take that lying down. If you’re gonna rub it in our face as if our first half bumpiness is validation that our initial wr rotation was plenty good enough, I’m not gonna defend that shit. It’s ok to be optimistic about the future while being critical of the past. Reid and veach acknowledged the shortcomings and they’ve adjusted it. It’s ok to say that.

No, that was NEVER the case. That was talking heads and Chiefs fans making something out of camp fluff.

Both of those guys entered camp with massive question marks and absolutely belonged in our big bag of "What if's".

If you walked into the season thinking, "These are our sure fire guys, and if they dont lead the team then it's a disaster", well that's a you problem because that means you totally misread the situation.
Yeah, it's like people think the Chiefs are just another fan with fan opinions and limited information and room temperature football IQs.

Do you know how people say God has a plan and you may not be able to understand the plan at this moment because you are mere mortal with mortal brains and a mortal view of the world, but it'll one day become clear... so just have faith that it'll all work out? (OK, maybe that's just a fancy way of saying "trust the process")

A lot more people should leave their bullshit and worry at the door and just use that approach.

Like they say, if something doesn't make sense, one of your assumptions is wrong.

You've said this multiple times.

No, I didn't say any of that. Stop making my argument something it's not so you can refute it.

I said the offense was never locked. The statistics of the start, say the same.

It's not the fire breathing offense of 2018, but it's still a top 10 offense in the league. All while being "bumpy" or whatever you want it to be. They haven't adjusted to anything, if you wanna think they have so you feel justified in your opinion of "being critical of the past", go for it I guess.

If we could get him for a day 3 pick I wouldn't be mad at it. He's the kinda guy who desperately needs a change of scenery. He's known nothing but inconsistency and losing in that shithole and I think he's had his fill of it.

It would clearly be a 1 year rental bc a 5th yr option would be over $12 million.

After the Hardman trade I don't see why we'd do this

I promise you Andy Reid was plenty aware that juju was a primary wr option who got 8+ targets a game. And nobody early on was filling that void. What filled that void was rashee proving he can be a primary target way sooner than expected.

The guy they wanted to be or expected to be a really high end player, missed all of TC.

Then people got upset when they were without their best offensive weapon for a week and dropped some passes.

I guess?

Not sure how the bolded part doesn't make sense? It's what people have been saying since week 1.

There's a difference between being oblivious to issues and telling people to StFU about them because it'll be fine.

I seriously doubt anyone in week 1 was saying "all those dropped passes are fine, they can continue dropping 10 passes a week and win a SB".

You might take it as defensiveness, but it's probably more like aggravation of people jumping in to take a dump on single game performances so they can extrapolate out the entire season.

Maybe stop taking shit so personally if you think this thread has been some big us vs them thing beyond people telling the chicken littles to calm the **** down.

There's little to be "right" about in that stance... it's just good advice.
