Don't give him too much credit. Mahomes Magic's position is like a turd in a punchbowl...

Sure, because developing Skyy Moore is more important than winning a SB.

I have trust in Veach. You keep citing his failure to draft WRs based on Moore and Hardman and explicitly do NOT trust him.

That's our primary difference. I believe these guys have earned the benefit of multiple doubts and I don't entirely judge and form my worldview based on small sample sizes.
Sure, I do too.

And those of saying all year long: Hey, KC's WR group is actually pretty crappy even if it isn't that much different than the group that won the SB last year.

In fact, it's so bad, giving up a 6th for somebody like Hardman (who can't see the field on a crappy Jet's offense) would make it better.

Nope, I feel you've misunderstood the arguments.

There's a group of people who think things will evolve over the course of the season and the team has a decent chance of figuring things out. They're the patient kind who acknowledge that the team's WRs are virtually the same as last year ex-JuJu **who can't see the field on a crappy Patriots offense** and that could certainly work.

Then there are people who think this team's WRs are hopeless and will never win a SB. These people can't acknowledge that it's a remarkably similar group as last season, and if we had the same conversation a year ago, these same people would've assured us that these WRs couldn't win a SB.

I'm sure you're going to tell me that the latter group doesn't exist. I encourage you to then remember the title of this thread and then read some of the initial content.

No team is trading a 2nd round pick for half a season rental on a guy that isn't an elite player. It's not even worth discussing.

What's this nonsense?

Maybe that second is Skyy Moore. Maybe it's Rashee Rice. Maybe it's Creed Humphrey.
