Toney's toe is either an issue or they're just not comfortable with him.

Looking like it. That pre season injury definitely derailed him

Snaps are just one metric. Obviously a player not being on the field tells you something, but it doesn't tell us about the play type or design, or what the player's chance truly was to catch a pass on any of their snaps.

Is Rice going to come on at the end of the seaosn and break 1k?

Hmm. Hardman actually took snaps from Toney it seems. Toney took 25 and 30 the past 2 games, then dropped to 13 while Hardman got 11. MVS Rice and Moore still lead the room.

He’d have to average 70 yards per game. More if we’re resting starters in week 18.

I say no.

They've had the guy for 2 years in the building.

Guess we will see if they draft or add more.

I wonder what it looked like by half. It looked to me like rashee got a lot of first half action. But I didn’t see him as much in the second half.

Same as last year, this offense does fine without having dominant WRs. I've been saying this all year, yet here we are more than 4700 posts later. Mahomes still don't care.
Except he does have a dominant WR, his name is Kelce and he just so happens to be in a TEs body. Some of us just don't want to see KC absolutely have to rely on him to get 10+ catches for the offense to work. Kelce clearly is still able to be dominant, but wouldn't it be nice to have another option or two to share some of the load? Rice clearly looks to be heading in that direction. It would be nice if someone else stepped up as another reliable option. I've been one of Moore's biggest detractors, but if he could just get a consistent 3-5 catches a game in key moments he would be a valuable asset to the team.

Also, just because the offense "does fine" (in several games it has not done fine) does that mean "fine" is all we should strive for? Shouldn't KC also be preparing for the time when Kelce is no longer here? I hope that isn't any time soon, but nobody can know when that is for sure. Kelce has already been banged up several times this year, the injury issues are likely going to become more common at his age. You can't deny the fact that this offense is a shell of itself if Kelce isn't available for whatever reason.

KC can win a super bowl with this team, it doesn't mean they shouldn't strive for being even better. It's ridiculous to blame those who want to see more out of the WR group. One good quarter from the offense does not negate the numerous bad quarters we've seen.

You act like year 1 he was able to do much at all. He was an IR, there are restrictions on what he could do.

What does "strive to be better" even mean? Do we think they aren't trying to be better?

Quit with the veiled shit and say what you want here guys. Go trade for someone? What?

It's a god damn top 5 offense in the league. It's a top 5 defense in the league. It's potentially the best overall Chiefs team....ever?

The all time great offense of 2018 is gone. If that's what we're gonna hold up as the bar for this group, it's not gonna hit it.
