But I think you are overstating things here. Kelce gets beat up over the coarse of a game and season. He's had knee and ankle injury already.

If he sees the offense stalls when he's on the sideline, of course he's going to put more pressure on himself to play through it. If he's in his early thirties and he's playing through nagging injuries, you don't think it makes any difference whether he's playing 80% of the snaps or 50%?
He's a competitor, you're not going to get him to play 50% of snaps. It's not going to happen.

Alright, imma say it. Ross is a HUGE nothingburger. A product of preseason hype, wishful thinking, and shiny toy syndrome.

The penalty on him was bullshit and Patrick’s throw was off.. Hard to make plays when your only in the game a few snaps and Travis is getting 150 yds..

Can't earn snaps or targets. We're at week 7 and the cream is rising to the top, and yet he's still firmly entrenched at the bottom of the depth chart. There's a reason for that.

Patience.

The team has higher investment WRs that are priority to get going.

Yeah.. Looks like Travis, Rice, MVS, and Hardman will be the main players unless there’s an injury… Toney isn’t getting many targets for some reason.. That may change come December..

Nah, he's just a JAG. 6 targets, 3 receptions, 2 drops. He's finne as a WR5/6, but that's his ceiling.

man, you guys are so fast to make declarations like this.

They're not going to throw three question marks on the field together. They've been working these guys in, and Ross is the low investment guy. They're going to prioritize the second rounders' development.

And through the injuries and cuts and bringing back Hardman (who spent 4 years in this offense) they've kept him on the 53. They see something.

We don't know what the ceiling is. Could be nothing. That's true. But 'incomplete' is the more reasonable grade at this point.

but since it's Kelce, and he's technically a TE (though he rarely lines up in line, and is much more a 'big slot' WR)

it's some kind of problem. It's undesirable.

**** off with that nonsense. Nobody gives a shit WHO makes the plays, just that someone MAKES THE PLAYS.

And the much maligned WRs chipped in 180 and two TD's today.

And Pacheco caught a TD pass, too, for good measure.

But you know, RBs catching TD passes is a bad indicator, according to Megatron.

**** right off with this bullshit.

I encourage you all to go be Miami fans. That's your team.

We'll just win championships over here, and you can jerk off to WR highlights.
You’re doing the same damn thing by rubbing it in everyone’s face because We had a great half against a bottom 5 pass defense. I get it. It felt great to be in rhythm again. But no I’m not gonna use 1 game to say skyy and Mvs figured everything out.

This isn’t about getting boners over a 2000 yard guy. Some of us didn’t want kelce taking on this heavy workload at his age. But whatever… water under the bridge. Now all we want are WRs who can play off him but also lead without him. But most importantly because kelce frees up a WR and a WR frees up kelce. We’ve played really bad pass defenses but eventually we’ll play good ones who will chip away at him. We need WRs to exploit it when defenses take kelce away. And we just haven’t seen that yet. When they took kelce away yesterday, rashee went silent too - I don’t know if that was scheme or usage. But right now that’s a consistent theme when we stall out.

I still don’t think skyy is the guy. I still don’t trust Mvs and Toney for consistency. I do see Rashees place and I saw things out of mecole yesterday that lead me to believe he does too. from there Mvs, Toney, skyy can fall back to being the role players I wanted them to be. So yeah, progress and optimism.

I still would like to see him get more involved. It seems like one mistake and he gets a quick hook. But when he’s on the field mahomes always targets him. It’s not a josh Gordon situation where nobody trusts him.

This is ridiculous. He's effectively a rookie who has a particular skillset and runs a limited route tree at this point. The only guy who has truly separated from him in an apples-to-apples way is Rice and no one is surprised by that.

The dude was an undrafted FA and now is on a team that's still trying to figure itself out as the favorites to win the SB. The only real cream that has risen to the top is Rice - the rest of the grade for these receivers is very incomplete.

And I was a real pump-the-breaks guy on Ross during training camp so it's not like I've been fawning over him forever.

You saw some things out of Mecole in his 11 snaps yesterday?

Pat played better yesterday, more confident in the pocket, threw it well.

Magically, the WR"s look better. Weird how it works.

I think we are spoiled. I admit I do miss the 2018 offense though

Yeah, that offense was just unreal. 2018 was the highlight of offense for the Chiefs and this group.

They're still really good. It's ok because now the defense is elite and the offense probably is too.
