Yeah, we're winning, utilizing all three phases of the game, and getting better every week, but it's not how I like to win - Megatron

I thought Skyy had maybe his best game and should've had a big TD.

PS - how are they the worst in the league?

Please provide where you see they are for DVOA because I'm fairly confident you've made this up to support your argument.

Yeah, you really talked them up bigtime. Nearly 500 total yards is just a little better.

I know you weren't asking me, but since Megatron will not because he'd have to admit he's full of shit, the Chargers defense was ranked 24th.

and that's yards; so you know Megatron will chuckle about how that doesn't matter, so they're also 25th in EPA (you know he'd be using that as his measuring stick if it was 32nd and have a dissertation about how that's the true measure).

Oh, and in points? 23rd.

So no, not the worst in the league, not even close.

More like the sort of defense KC usually puts on the field. So he should love it!

Get us to a point where we don’t rely on kelce for a million targets and a lebron like usage. I feel like we’re close. But we’re not there yet. Today was damn good progress.

Yup. And to answer my own question: they were 21st in pass defense DVOA.

So 3rd quartile.

But he just makes stuff up. And then others follow him blindly because it supports the narrative they're just desperate to cling to:

zilla: "We played the worst pass offense in football today."

I've got news for you, bro.

Kelce's one of the best players in football. He's going to get a ton of targets because he's open A LOT. Money in the bank.

That's going to be true until it's not any longer. And father time is undefeated, but it ain't going to suddenly catch them unawares in the next 4 months.

It's not like a running back, where there's a short career expectancy. You save nothing by trying to limit his usage.

He gets so open, it looks like broken coverage like ten times a damned game. He's unreal. So yeah, he's going to get a lot of targets.

Mahomes on pace for 4800 yards

Major receivers are on pacer for :

Kelce 1275
Rice 741
Watson 531
MVS 486
Moore 389
Toney 255
Everyone else 1297 yards

Compared to last year:
Kelce 1338
Ju-Ju 933
MVS 687
Watson 315
Hardman 297
Moore 250
Toney 171
Everyone else 1253

Same as last year, this offense does fine without having dominant WRs. I've been saying this all year, yet here we are more than 4700 posts later. Mahomes still don't care.

Yeah of course kelce is a machine. But we can’t revolve our entire passing game around kelce getting 10 targets in the first half. We’ve seen over most games we have success with kelce early and then struggle on pass offense once defenses find a way to neutralize him. And once you neutralize him you gotta have weapons to capitalize. And until that happens we’ve had most games where we have an incredible opening script and then stalls once defenses find out how to neutralize kelce.

We’ve yet to show consistency getting in rhythm once we go off script. That’s where you want to see the pass offense evolve.

Dude, he got ten targets because he was WIDE OPEN. Like in the way only he seems to be able to consistently do.

So **** yeah, you're going to throw him the ball. The WR's had 180 yards or something today. And two TD's. I think it's okay.

Who gives a ****, seriously, he was open and most were uncontested catches... Are you saying Mahomes shouldn't throw it to Kelce because we need to spread it around to make reeruns on a message board feel better?
