They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

What's wrong with Thielens contract?

$8m for this season, opp to let him go in offseason... It would only cost us like $5m for the rest of the season which is exactly how much we have to spend.

Why would KC trade for a guy they could have gotten in the offseason without having to spend a draft pick. They're not trading for a 33 year old WR with multiple years left on his contract.

They can't get rid of him until after next season. His dead cap is more than his cap hit next year, then if we were to release him after next season we'd still have $5 mil wasted on him.

I like Mooney and Hollywood as options. Godwin would be expensive even though he would be amazing here.

Correct. I like the player but the math and likely pick required doesn't work.

I feel like Brown makes the most sense. You can trade for him extend him at likely a reasonable rate then have him and Rice as your 2 go to WRs's for the next 3 years or so.

I love the idea of bringing someone in but not sure how I feel about Hollywood. More of a long term play than a bandaid and I’m not sure he’s the one we’d want to place all our bets on. Something about his attitude makes me nervous.

When it all shakes out I am hoping it is Rice,Ross,Watson with MVS and Toney taking key strategic snaps when needed. My football eyes see Moore as a JAG. Toney is a gadget player for now and always probably will be because he is SOFT. If he ever decided to hit the weight room(to absorb the hits and get mentally tough) and change his attitude(team first instead of me first -should have handed the ball off and it was soooooo obviously open and easy first to pick up) he would then be "that consistent playmaker" but for now he is a very talented spot player.

I agree with you that Brown makes the most sense, if they'll part with him.

He'd prob be a 1 year rental like JuJu, but would be a good move for everyone involved I think.

He has the potential to add just a little spice to our offense I think.
