Do you want BWillie to leave Chiefsplanet?

I will give the power to the people. BWillie shall leave if they say it is so. I call nobody names and contribute to valueable conversations to the board. A very peaceful guy. But I know my way of thinking upsets many around here so I leave it to a pohl.

I wish you and our favorite team the kansas city chiefs the best

Love BWillie

One of the saddest things to happen to Chiefsplanet in the past 20+ years is how it's gone from being a place where everyone felt a sense of community, and where people really cared about others, to a place where almost every response to a comment that someone doesn't agree with is a nasty attack on intelligence, on their level of Fandom, their football knowledge, or their looks or orientation, etc. It is honestly sad.

The feel of the Chiefsplanet has gone from a supportive place, to a place where a bunch of keyboard warriors think the bigger the insult they come up with, the more they support their opinion.
Man when I first joined here it was BRUTUAL nothing today compares to the Pioli era/maybe early Smith days

I think the board doesn't feel as close probably because it's grown/we've gotten older and busier. You got to remember this board I believe was a spin off from the old star board so over 20+ years. Message boards in general have changed with the evolution of social media. The fact this board is still humming is actually pretty remarkable

There also hasn't been a meetup as far as I know in a few years. Those are always good for perspective and to chill folks the hell out. 99% of the people posting on this site are pretty damn chill in person.

I used to mix up Detoxing & The Franchise for awhile. I think it was because they hated me and it was hard to keep up with the insults. We're fam now tho

In some ways its worse now than it was but it some ways it was not.

I feel like now things go from nothing to hateful in no time. Whereas in the past things came along more slowly and would boil over a longer period of time.

There is literally not a person of any generation in the last century who remembers the old days as being worse than the current situation.

This is about as typical as any stage of evolution goes.

The early days were special because the community was new and great and the Chiefs were miserable and everyone jointly suffered together. Now we've hit some divergence in the road where some people can be happy because of the immense success and others can't comprehend that and have to invent random avenues to achieve new levels of unhappiness.

Most of these strong disagreements revolve around this exact premise.
