It's a semi-educated guess really. Last season, Andy tried at least twice to get Hardman extra touches, and of course we know about CEH getting extra touches in a few games over the last couple seasons.

Thursday we're playing, well, a defense that is almost a picture-perfect situation for a player like Skyy to get some extra touches, and thereby possibly build Skyy's confidence. As well any other WRs (or other skills players for that matter).

I mean, we're in the 2nd quarter of the season; this next 4-5 weeks would be the time to do such things for Andy, because by the time we get to Weeks 12-13, the WR will most likely be set, as far as WR usage goes as the team gets ready for the playoffs.

Or, checking the schedule, Skyy's 'featured' game could be the following game, vs. LAC, a team he's already had some success against last season, plus it would give him more time to get ready for his increased role.

The kid can contribute here. Meaningfully. He's not going to be any dumber than Moore is and he's had a TON more critical plays than Moore had.

Even if he does nothing more than take the gadget shit away from Moore and put it in the hands of someone with real explosion, that's worthwhile.

The Chiefs should get that done. He's ALWAYS been worth more to us than anywhere else and I said that when I was hoping he'd sign a 'make-good' deal with us. He'd have to be elated to be back here.

This is a deal we should make. A last day pick or pick swap should get it done. The only thing I could see that could prevent it is a team like Buffalo or Miami trumping our bit as a defensive measure. And even THAT would have long-term value to us if we can price enforce the deal.

This and get Rice more than 20 snaps a game and we'll be fine.

I have missed on a lot of prospects over my time here …but man.

It sure looks like I completely whiffed on Skyy Moore.

Unless he does a complete 180, he’s not even an NFL player.

Well, especially when you consider that he was supposed to be a great route runner and quick and he's failing at the very things that he was supposed to be good at, or the very things that got into the NFL, then yeah he doesn't belong.

The problem was that he lacked the physical ability to make the play.

I still maintain that Alex had the physical tools to make all the throws. He was the #1 overall pick after all. I know he had the shoulder injury in SF but by the time he came to KC he could make all the throws necessary to be an elite QB. His issues were 100% between the ears.
