Not saying that we should get Mecole back, but Hardman knows how to execute that quick screen that Skyy brainfarted on.


Also, I won’t be surprised at all if Skyy sees a significant bump in his targets Thursday. Seems like a perfect opportunity for Andy to try and let Skyy showcase himself, and it would be a very Andy thing to do.

Hardman is no Jerry Rice but damn don't you all realize how shitty our wide receivers have been this season???? For every nice catch Rashee Rice makes, he drops 2. Same goes for Justyn Ross. Toney can't stay healthy for more than 2 possessions and Moore has been a disappointment, border line bust. MVS is decent but man, we need help.

It's like all those times we'd see Alex Smith not try to force a ball into a tight window. The argument was the same every time -- "Alex, throw the damn ball!" and weirdly it was usually me saying "guys, he can't make that throw. If he tries it, it's picked. Scrambling for 6 was the right call..."

The problem was that he lacked the physical ability to make the play.

And Moore simply lacks the physical tools to do anything with that ball. I mean he should've gotten 8 out of it instead of 4, but he wasn't going to make it a splash play.

Hardman could have.
