They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

This is such a ridiculous statement.

You can say that our margin for error was not infinite last year - a point I have made many times myself - but to characterize last season as one where "everything" fell in our favor is such complete and utter nonsense. And it really speaks to the fact that you have a fairly jaundiced view of everything and will always find reasons to be unhappy.

I guess Mahomes playing essentially the entirety of the playoffs with a bad leg was shit going right for us.

Come on Twisted... We were really lucky to have Mahomes bang up his Ankle for in the Divisional round and for us to lose most of our receivers in the AFCCG...

Being realistic isn’t unhappy.

I’m sorrry that your own misery colors your interactions with others because liking my team and wanting to win a SB isn’t a crime.

We can't always rely on Vic Fangio to randomly show up out of nowhere as a defensive consultant for the team we're playing in the Super Bowl.

Lol no.

Van Jefferson is in no way better than Toney or Rice. He's not even better than MVS.

I know you are only saying this to shit on our WRs, but it's reeruned.

MVS drew the 31 yard DPI on 4th down on the last TD drive against the Vikings, and the hold on 3rd and 20 against the Jets to extend the game ending drive. Doesn't show up in his stats. He's been valuable.

Inventing narratives in an attempt to try to downplay the latest Chiefs Championship run isn't being realistic. It's just lame.

I agree that 14m next year is too much for a decoy player but they gotta find that replacement because right now they ain't got it.

Mecole isn't anything beyond a random Jet sweep and like one game a year where the opposing Defense forgets he exists and he accidentally puts up some stats.
We all get it and yes I'd rather have MVS than not but he is just paid to much for what he does.

Let me ask you this....As much importance as you are putting on MVS and his ability to keep the D honest with his deep routes, if MVS gets hurt and is out for the season does it REALLY matter? I personally don't think it would result in a W or a L.

One of our guys would step up and run his routes...if the D doesn't respect it then Pat kills them deep. I think teams are more afraid of Pat opening up the deep game and couldn't care less which of our WRs is running a deep route. Pat would LOVE to get any of our WRs one on one deep! Just test him please!

Buffalo losing all their secondary and Von.

Bengals losing their oline.

Ravens losing Lamar.

We had a clear path.

We still had to perform but I don’t know why this is so hard to understand.

Expecting things like that is the problem and you keep bringing up last year.

It’s a new year. Don’t assume shit.

We also had everything fall for us right last year. This is a new year. Expecting every team in the AFC to implode is not how I would manage this roster.
Very confident that Mahomes would rather have this team than the 2018 team.

It's harder for him to continue to have pressure on scoring every drive than it is to work with a below average WR room but having an excellent defense, OL and Kelce.

Hard to say what the outcome would have been if MVS was out and another WR ran those routes.

Almost like we are discussing NFL money ball here. Don't need a all around elite WR we just need a guy who can run deep, a guy who can run inside routes a guy who can catch 3rd downs.......

Which is all fine as long as your not paying those guys to much like we are MVS /shrug.
