They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

Hopefully Rice or Ross becomes that reliable, but if they're not Veach needs to do his job and get Patrick an elite WR to make his life easier.

A bit of context for the folks shrieking about how the Chiefs are treating Mahomes like the Packers treated Rodgers. The Packers used 6 picks in the first three rounds of the draft on WRs the entire time Rodgers was starting there.

By comparison the Chiefs have used 3 picks in the first three rounds on WRs in just these last two years after trading Hill, and two of them have flashed legit upside.

So yeah, if you want to criticize Veach for the Moore pick, go right ahead. By all appearances the kid is unfortunately looking like a massive bust. But to act like we're neglecting the position is just plain idiotic.

"Mahomes deserves weapons"

Sure. But that's gonna come at the expense of his "deserving" a defense. Or "deserving" an OL. They're paying a RT a shitload, a LG a shit load, they have drafted a C and a RG.

Guys.....I get it. I would love to have it all, talent everywhere etc.

But the league is set up with a salary cap and it's meant to be this way. Once he signed his deal.......yeah, he's gonna have to play to it and alot of it is gonna be on his shoulders. That's the way it is.

All this talk and the Chiefs still have a top 5 offense in the league.

Lets just cool the jets a bit here.

Missed on Moore, missed on DK Metcalf, McLaurin, missed on Pickens, etc.

Yeah, these receivers are amazing. Holy.....how did the rest of the league sleep on these guys? They will all probably finish with 10 TDs, 1,000 yards, and probably won't drop another pass all season.

No on Moore.

Too me it does not seem to be lack of confidence rather he is just looks rather a lack of explosiveness and quickness. He does not make guys miss after the catch, he does not get separation in space. Not sure what you do with him.

Here's my thing with Hardman....sure I'd much rather have Devante or Tyreek duh.

But you can go get a guy at the deadline who's had success in your system, knows the system and is cheap.

He adds a dimension you don't currently have.

Seems like an ideal situation.

9th in scoring, I believe, but we purposely left points on the board at the end of the Jaguars and Jets games. Plus we took our starters out pretty early in the Bears game.

It’s clear that we’ve got to clean some stuff up but it isn’t a dire situation at the moment.

We didn't miss on Metcalf or McLaurin... We were looking for a Hill replacement, and Mecole's measurables made him a fit. We wouldn't even had drafted a WR in the 2nd if it weren't for the fat lady from the Star.

Who are you getting rid of if you trade for a WR? And don't say Moore because they aren't going to cut him or trade him.

Toney
MVS
Watson
Ross
Rice
Moore

You could say James but I highly doubt that. I guess they could move Washington back to the PS but as soon as James is ready to come off the IR, you're back to having to cut a WR.
