He got up looking wobbly af, it did NOT look good... I was totally blown away to see him back out there not only warming up, but playing on with great effect

Made a big play in the red zone before the 4th down - smoked Cousins and ruined the play.

Also, I was fine with the second punt on 4th and 2 and never said I wasn't at any point. The chances of Cousins going 80 yards in a minute with no timeouts is very unlikely.

I was much less fine with punting on 4th and 1 from midfield before that with 9 minutes. Statistically, considering the conversion rate of those plays and considering you have the best QB in the NFL, that's an absolute no brainer at this level.

Yet today he didn't? Were we not watching the same game?

He gave Mahomes the ball on 3rd down and didn't call a run, did he not? They just didn't convert it with McKinnon, but it wasn't for a lack of trying on either of their (Andy or Patrick's) parts.

I get where you're coming from, but the Chiefs are terrible in short yardage. Gimmicky plays that don't work mixed with an OL that doesn't get a strong enough push forward on those type of plays.

No one is asking them to do a short yardage run on 4th and 1. Mahomes/Reid find a way to convert those way more often than not.

Yep, the only problem with that drive was we missed it on 2 and 1 and 3 and 1... I would have been fine either way there, but with a 2 score lead it made sense to punt both times, especially the last drive.

Andy gets too cute on the playcalling though. It's usually some kind of gimmicky stuff instead of letting Patrick do a normal throw.

We were actually pretty good today except on the 2nd to last drive when we didn't get it on 2 and1 and 3 and 1. They were selling out though...

We were up 7 when both punts happened.
