Maybe he can be the Frank Clark of the WRs and make two or three game changing plays in the post season.*

At the cost of a 3rd round pick and a nominal cap hit - I can live with that.

He's proven to be a whiney ass diva who doesn't play hard unless he knows he's getting the ball. He's quit on 2 seperate teams now. I would rather ride with Skyy who is awful right now than to bring in someone who will bitch and moan about how much he's getting the ball even though he's done nothing to earn a larger target share on the ****ing Bears.

Don't trade for him unless you have plans to get him the ball.

I see snaps going to Skyy Moore, Watson, and Noah Gray all available for him.

If he wants it.

Obviously you have to show him being a pussy not blocking and tell him, we can't have this. You're going to get the ball but you're also going to level people.

We will win the SB and you will get paid by someone else after. Now play.

Nah, claypool ain’t it and i doubt veach steals from poles as a reclamation project. There are clips of him dogging his routes in week 1. Not even lazy, practically walking. That ain’t good.

We survived the game because Pacheco was able to carry the passing game. But we were flat out stifled in the passing game once he adjusted to us.

Our WRs were bad and it’s not just reflected in wr stats, it also allowed them to lock down kelce. That’s a good defense and secondary but let’s not deflect blame from them. They weren’t good.
I think the fact that the 2 INTs were on opening plays of drives, and the safety was on the 2nd play of that drive skewed the numbers.

I have the I believe in Veach, Reid and Mahomes view on this. If Chiefs make a move for a new player and it is not because of an injury. I say okay.

My view is win games and stay healthy.

Uh you know if the Bengals lose again they could legit sit Burrow...trade Higgins off to Carolina and then replace him with the high pick they'd get for sucking.

Found this, and I don't know how to embed the clips, so here's the link to the article.

In summary, our WRs are struggling against man coverage across the board, Rice is doing well vs. zone (Thank God) Skyy is struggling vs. zone (surprise), Toney is really the only man-beater, MVS is underperforming.

Right at the beginning of the article, there's chart that shows the decline of the Chiefs WR production since 2018.

Of some concern, though I doubt anyone needs to panic just yet, is that Travis isn't performing well vs. man either right now.

https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2023/...ating-problems

Hopefully we'll see an uptick in about a month.

If Taylor Swift wants Veach to obtain Claypool, he should do it. She can't be expected in the press box every game to root for a team with JAGs at WR.

Uh go ahead and wait for the Bengals to tank when they won't even sit Burrow when he's hurt, and wait for them to start trading away weapons, including sending over exactly what their primary competition in the AFC needs to be even more competitive. I won't be holding my breath.

I actually don't think they are smart enough to do it, they are however in a no win situation though.

Burrow is terrible with the injury, so they lose when he plays, if they sit him for 3-4 games and come out at 1-6 they are toast...if Burrow continues to suck they are toast.

Looks like a wasted season.

Here are the stats from the first 4 games last year, vs. the first 4 games this year. One could argue that this years schedule has seen much tougher defenses than last years first 4 games...

2022 first 4 games
Total Yards 1539
Passing Yards 1071
Rushing Yards 468

2023 first 4 games
Total Yards 1572
Passing Yards 1024
Rushing yards 548

It shouldnt be a surprise our WR are getting less yards when our rushing totals have went up each week this year as defenses continue to drop into max coverage:

Rushing yards by game:
Det 90
Jax 101
Chi 153
NYJ 204
