We drew Jags and Bengals with bad OL last playoffs.

If we draw that again, sure.

I don't want to count on such things.
We won the Super Bowl last year?

We actually have a defense we can rely on. A top 5 d.

The offense doesn’t have to be as good as it normally does; it needs to make plays when it needs to make plays.

It's funny the group think on this WR group.

What if we do add a vet WR?

Am I still "full of shit"?

My guess is you will completely clap like a seal if it happens.

We just ****ing beat a division winning playoff team from last year. They wanted this game very ****ing bad, and it was a pretty damn hot on the field and the Chiefs still pulled off a victory and could have scored again had they wanted to at the end. Quit being a drama queen, Jesus.

Mahomes is a miracle worker. But I would like a bit more insurance based on what I have seen so far.

Not asking for a 30 million dollar investment, how about just a good vet WR that isn't needed somewhere else?

Nobody thinks we are in week 2.

I think if you look around the league, you'll see that all of the contenders look like they have issues.

The difference is, some people here are just assuming that this is the finished product, and we're screwed.

It's not even CLOSE to the finished product.

The goal is to have an offense play to its capabilities. We have three GOATs on offense. And yeah we’ve seen that those three guys can carry a LOT of weight.

But we’ve overestimated how much they can carry and some of us are tired of this overused rationalization that they should because they can. Kelce will be 34 and is it becoming painfully obvious that we should start protecting him? Like, when a defenses whole strategy is to have 2-3 guys clobber him maybe give the dude some help?

The WRs are a big problem right now. How can you possibly say they’re not? I get if you want to be optimistic that they’ll get better. But they killed just as many drives as our OL did. I refuse to accept that mahomes can’t read the defense or just stalls drives. Or that one mistake is so devastating that it kills drives every single time. In fact we’re making mahomes worse because he’s overcompensating and he’s hesitant to throw to guys who might **** things up.

We didn’t make mistakes last year. We made a ton of them two years ago and this year. The big difference is this year we don’t have any reliable weapons (yet) to recover from mistakes. So every small mistake is a drive killer.

It's because I believe in the overall roster so much that I want to make sure.

Love what the D has done, I expect the tackles to play better. Less gaffes and fumbles.

With three GOATs efficiency can work. Many of us feel that is not our ceiling and we can have efficiency and talent too. We didn’t make mistakes last year. Two years ago and this year, we are. And we’re seeing this year until our WRs step up every mistake feels like a drive killer. Because we’ve lost complete confidence in pushing in semi large to large chunks. That isn’t ideal. The defense is carrying us but no offense with three GOATs should be in that position.

We don't have a true #1 or #2 WR. It's all based on Kelce bailing them out.

Could it work? Sure, we have a generational QB and Reid. But why make things hard just to prove a point?

I'm sure Veach wanted the young guys to get reps. But someone has to really step up or a trade is needed.

Can you answer a simple question? What team have you watched that the Chiefs can't beat?

Right now unless something drastically changes I think Baltimore has the personnel to eliminate Kelce and make us beat them with someone else.

But that doesn't mean we couldn't win. It just means we are asking to put ourselves in a coin flip situation for no reason.

The receivers do indeed suck besides Kelce. This D looks awesome though and I’ll give Andy and Pat some time to figure this BS out.
