Allen was the worst QB this weekend. Game situation matters. You know at 13-3 that Rodgers is out. The absolute only way you can lose is with turnovers and even then it would take multiples turnovers. Allen gladly obliged. It wasn’t just bad luck or weird things happening. It was remarkable stupidity, carelessness with the ball, and complete lack of mental capacity to just take the quick throws and move the chains. If they ran the ball every play in the second half they probably win.

For the week? Allen.

Long-term, Josh Allen is a far-superior QB in comparison to Burrow, IMO. Allen scares me with the ball in his hands. I’m never afraid of Joe Burrow scoring a TD seemingly effortlessly the way I am with Allen. Not sure why that guy has such untimely brain-lapses, but I love it and hope it continues.

If we are up 2 points with :20 seconds left to go and Burrow has the ball in his hands, my thought process is, “ok, we are good…let’s stop this dork.” With Allen in that same situation, I’m thinking, “oh ****… Josh Allen is their QB.”

I think Burrow would look pretty limited without all the help around him, but at this point it is Allen. Just a massive turnover machine these days and I can't see any reason that will change right now.

Burrow went through my favorite team in overtime to at least get to a Superbowl. Getting to a Superbowl is pretty big. And then went back to the AFCCG the very next year. Allen has never done that.

Allen is worse, but he's also carrying a bigger burden on his shoulders. Burrow has an elite defense backing him and multiple elite weapons. Burrow also has a legit run game helping him (Mixon/Perine), whereas Allen is usually Buffalo's leading rusher. Bigger burden, more pressure...and it leads to mistakes.

Burrow isn't as clutch as everyone makes him out to be, and I agree on Allen having to carry far more of the load.

Burrow is definitely overrated on the clutch stuff. The stats back this up. He has had the strongest defense of any team in the Playoffs the last 2 years. That defense has played a huge role in their success. Even in their Playoff losses, the defense only gave up 23 points to explosive offenses (Rams/Chiefs).

Burrow's main job is to avoid turnovers, let that Cincy defense keep the games close. Take advantage of play action opportunities from their run game, and occasionally let the likes of Chase/Higgins make some pretty amazing jump ball catches.

The turnover situation is where Allen shoots himself in the foot compared to Burrow, but I definitely think Allen's burden of having a shaky defense, zero run game other than his own body running the ball, and questionable weapons other than Diggs...it all builds into pretty big pressure and he is not able to handle it sometimes.

Yeh.

Allen probably isn't going to make it through the playoffs.

But he can occasionally turn it on.

The Bills cruised down the field for the trying FG.

The offensive PI was obvious, but that doesn't mean it always gets called. Without it, they would have had a couple of better shots at a TD in regulation.

Allen. I've always thought he was overrated. Burrow can be really dangerous with a solid o-line.

The game Allen played in 13 Seconds is 10,000x the performance of anything Burrow has ever put together.

Burrow got past the Chiefs that year because of Mahomes while Allen did not get past the Chiefs that year because of Mahomes.

Had nothing to do with QB play.

Allen is the higher upside QB for sure who’s asked to do a lot more. Burrow is smarter and more consistent with a higher floor of play.

They’re both really ****ing good.
