Hard to argue with two rings in three attempts within four years, but it's a bit crazy to think that it takes Reid three years to develop WRs in to fitting his system.

When you really think about it Juju's role last year was finding those holes in the defense and making them tough underneath catches to keep moving the chains. And on reflection I think his presence was missed just as much as Kelce's tbh.

I don't buy that, unless WRs are inherently reeruned. ****ing medical school only takes 4 years.

Brady always had reliable guys like that. Someone needs to step up or the front office needs to get way better at finding the right guys in the future.

And that is where we ****ed up, it's one thing to go with a young receiving core, it's a whole different thing to do it without exactly zero reliable targets out there.

So, any blame to be put on Connor Embree as the WR coach? Seems like you'd want to invest in a quality/known commodity there over someone with no track record like Embree.

Yeah, having the RT block down, leaving the backup TE 1-on-1 with Hutchinson was not smart.

An experienced WR coach would've told Toney to stop dropping the ball.

I like that play design, but asking a TE to do blocking for any period of time against a DE that good isn't going to work out well very often.

Toney can’t catch a cold. No wonder Giants were happy to get rid of him. Sure he can make grabs wide open but that’s easy, anyone can do that. You get paid millions to make tough grabs. I’m tired of “oh that was a tough ball”. Miss me with that bullshit.

Well, drops were certainly a big part. But I think there were more issues than just that with poor routes, multiple receivers being in the same area, miscommunication, etc.

They’re gonna have to figure it out eventually. Kelce will not be there forever to bail them out of poor evaluation in the WR group.
