I think all the talk about Toney being #1 was just a confidence booster for him, dude had 170 yards all last season. I count on Toney to make a big play in the playoffs, eventually, but week to week I'd look elsewhere for consistency. All and all our WR core isn't scaring any defenses this year.

I considered that it was designed to be some sort of clear out route, but I just don’t think I’ve ever seen a stop route that deep. I mean, he is legitimately 25 yards from the LoS before he even turns to the QB.

Maybe that’s why Mahomes doesn’t ever throw to him. Every time Mahomes comes to Moore in his progressions, the dude ain’t look back at him lol

Right now Skyy and Toney are making D-Rob and Pringle look good.

D-Rob had 45 catches and 3 TD in one regular season.

Pringle had 50+ catches and 8 TD in 2021, regular season and playoffs combined.

The Chiefs look stupid right now letting those very average receivers go and blowing draft picks on the kids.

We will be fine. We just won the Super Bowl with Toney and Moore and both caught touchdowns and made plays in the biggest of spots. Sucks to lose but we all know we should have won that game. Gifted a W to the Lions. Shit happens.

Yeah, it’s possible he and Mvs are just boom/bust guys. At this point I’d relegate Toney to his role last year to be in for 15-20% of snaps or whatever. Keeps him healthier and turns him into a role player vs an every down WR.

At this point put rashee into the fire as our WR1. He easily showed the most promise yesterday .
