We can afford to let Toney get to 100%. This isn’t your Hardman/Deiter/Robinson WR group. This a very deep and talented WR group that can dominate without Toney. No need to rush.

That’s a ton of firepower WITHOUT Toney.

Let the knee get to 100% and even then, limit his snap counts while he works with Pats trainer on flex

He's gonna be questionable about every week, we'll just get what we get from him and look for the whole group to contribute. This isn't Dieter and Kemp

Even if K Toney doesn't ever play another down for the Chiefs that was a well worth it trade.

He's on double secret unknown injury status.
Will other teams have to prep for him or not?

At this point I don’t know that he’ll ever be reliable enough that we can shelve him to get him healthier. Seems like even if we wait he’ll be at high risk of injury still. While we need him later in the season for critical games, we may need him most early in the season because of our inexperience. You would hope that a few weeks in we have a better idea of who can take the mantle as our WR1. But for now it feels like we’d be elevating roles for guys who aren’t just ready yet.

He needs to train with Mike O'hearn. O'hearn emphasizes strengthening joints, tendons and ligaments then muscle mass.

It's interesting that some players seem to be made of glass, and others who play the same position and appear to have similar physiques stay relatively healthy. Genetics and luck, I suppose.

Chiefs’ HC Andy Reid told reporters that Kadarius Toney, who missed much of camp with a lingering knee injury, is “good to go” for Week 1 vs. the Lions.

Just in time. We're going to need him in a big way vs. DET.

VARSITY
I just finished my first season of Madden 24 and Toney stayed healthy, had 1,700+ yards, and won Superbowl MVP. Seems like that's what we should expect.
