If a pass attempt is caught and completed - our d-backs are crappy.
If a pass attempt is broken up, dropped, or incomplete - our receivers are crappy
If a runner breaks through the line - our d-line and backers are crappy.
If a runner gets stuffed at the line - our runner and o-line is crappy.

Sometimes, perfection just isn't good enough.

6 straight years of our WRs getting wide open is reason enough for me not to be worried after a few days of camp. I read that our offense the other day looked terrible. Not even remotely concerned.

Is it good D or Bad O. It’s training camp vs our own team it’s pretty hard to tell. If our WR were wide open you would be complaining about the DBs sucking I assume.

I saw a facebook post of a pass from Mahomes to James. Moore was wide open coming across the middle right in front of Mahomes. Mahomes was rolling to his right and threw back across the field to James. If Mahomes would have went to Moore, it would probably been a shorter gain as defenders were in position a couple of yards behind the line where Moore was.

Flashing back a few days, Mahomes said at a press conference that he communicates with the defensive back all of the time, and that he wants to challange the DB's as much as possible. So it could be that Mahomes is forcing the ball into more covered receivers to help the DB's learn instead of always just throwing to the wide open receiver. Mahomes is a team player all the way.

I've never said a bad thing about Ross unless you can show me otherwise?
I'm rooting for him and hoping he is a breakout player.

I just simply saw 2 attempts today where he didn't come down with the ball, like I said "for whatever reason". I didn't have the best view, (could have been a bad pass) and I wasn't really nerding out with binoculars like some of you other geeks. I was just there casually watching while talking to family and friends.

The Watson play I must have missed, just like many other plays that Ross must have made. Big deal, don't get so worked up about my quick notes. lol

50 plays out of how many so far at camp?

Numbers a relative.

I will say that today, while many passes were completed... our DB's were doing a damn fine job of contesting balls. Was more of a compliment to the DB's than a diss to our WR's. I'm an optimist about our offense, because Mahomes effect.
