Not unless Toney doesn't play hardly at all, and Richie James doesn't play much either.

There's a LOT of nice weapons and complimentary skill-sets here in this group.

So I don't think any of them go for 1000, but you might one pushing it and have four guys over 500 plus Kelce and his usual 1000+.

I know that is the popular thought around here. I'm just thinking our two young receivers breakout. Rookies in the NFL have went for 1000 before. I'm thinking it's going to happen here this year. JMO

Stop posting things I agree with I need to spread around the reputation.

I think Mahomes breaks the passing yards record again.

If any two of the three of Prince, Ross, and Rice produce anything near what they look like they may be capable of then our offense could be even more scary than 2018. Especially if Toney can ever get healthy.

Just need to OTs not to shit the bed. They don't have to be spectacular, they just need to not be a huge weakness. I especially trust the moves Veach makes with the OL and DB, so I'm fully confident that Smith and Taylor will be an upgrade over Brown and Wylie.

Can't remember ever being this eager to watch preseason games.

It’s exciting for sure.

I was pretty eager to watch the preseason games after the Bucs Super Bowl disaster. I’m still in awe of what Veach did with the OL in one offseason without ****ing the cap long term. Thuney, Creed, and Trey in one offseason.

Has any team ever built that good of an interior OL in one offseason?

None that immediately come to mind. The only thing I can think of that rivals it is what he did with our DBs last season.

We certainly have a high ceiling with this group, but also a very low floor. Training camp is not football, or even close to it. We'll see how they look under the bright lights but I'm certainly more optimistic now about the WR room than before camp started. As the great Allen Iverson said, we talking about practice, not a game, PRACTICE.

I think Richie James may have McKinnon upside, value-wise. I guess the dude is always open, and Mahomes finds those guys and feeds them.

Also, weirdly under the radar, is MVS, and I think he’s not discussed because he’s a known commodity. That said, I watched a long ass highlight video a while back of last seasons top plays, and it was MVS making a play like every 3rd clip - it was super weird.

I’ve beat the MVS drum a bit. I don’t necessarily agree he is a known commodity.

The AFCCG where he stepped up and balled when he was the only ****ing guy out there is not something we’ve seen before. He did yoemans work in all aspects of the game because he was ****ing it. And he was awesome.

As far as being a known commodity, I didn’t think he had that game in him. But he does, obviously. If he becomes that dude all the time (very unlikely), watch our world. If he’s 50% that dude all the time (unlikely) he’s our WR 1 easy. If he’s 20% that dude all the time and breaks bad ass occasionally (likely) he’s a very valuable asset. If it was an aberration (unlikely) he’ll go back to speed routes and we’ll let him walk.

MVS is one of the more intriguing journeys to watch. Certainly one with the most upside.

Not sure why Watson is recieving shade on here. He had some shining moments last year and the kid can really run. His drops did increase in cold weather but other than that defense had to account for him. At a minimum I like him better than the likes of D-Rob and Pringle from a couple years ago. He's an underrated contributor on this team. Kid has heart.

Low floor?

No.

You act like we're going into a season with Drob, Kemp, and Pringle at WR.

We've got 7 guys better than any of that right now. I think this is the exact opposite of 'low floor '.

I think what determines the floor/ceiling is as much the LT situation as anything. If Smith is s**t then it's gonna impact how these guys turn out. If he's passable, there's enough depth there at WR to think talent will rise to the top.

If he's shit, he won't be in there come September. Plan B was originally plan A, and if that's so we'll see Taylor at LT and Niang or Morris at RT and that'll still be better than last season.
