Quick question - [Donations for 30 x 30 Chiefs Mural Now Open]

I do have one little suggestion....Put the Superbowl Champion Roman Numerals sporadically on the mural, so that future numerals can be added over the image. IV, LIV, LVII... We've got more coming.

Yup, the AFL championships, too. Stram was considered one of the best coaches of all time, because he won it all without an OC, DC or ST coach.



It would be cool if they can be honored, the mural would last for years.

Is there a plan for the funds if the goal isn't met? I'd personally be more comfortable with the Kickstarter model, but I'm open to donating if there's an alternative use planned.

...if the goal isn't totally met....say only 10k is raised, I will attempt to paint the mural at 15ft x 15ft. I think any smaller wouldn't be as impactful.

Anything under that, I will most likely kill the project and all money will be returned, or possibly paint a big mural of a player, but only if the people who donated approve.

Go Fund me hasn't even asked for any banking info at this point.

I feel like this is doable...are there 2000 Chiefs fans willing to donate $10? Or a thousand willing to donate $20? Or 200 willing to donate $100?

I like to think there are, but I guess we'll see.

A question, simply because I don't understand how much time/effort something like this costs.

We have a donation goal of $22k. How much of that goes into supplies, etc - and how much is " labor, for lack of a better word?

How much time do you envision completing something like this will take?

2k will go to the lift and supplies.
If Im lucky and put in long days, a month
Most likely more.

The goal is to have it finished by the home opener.
